Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

But probably not at the exact entrance of the temporary walkway. ;)
Well, it's kind of the other way around. They have put the walkway in the exact position in relation to that steel work, to be able to continue the build without interruption.

The walkway is slightly off-centre, but the left bit looks different than the other two so there might be more pieces to this puzzle.

The more informed commentary (as opposed to random speculation about particular chavy brands) has always been suggesting that we won't really start discussions in earnest until a year before the stadium opens (so August 2017).

The reason for this is that we'll get much bigger offers as the risk of the stadium not being completed (at all or on time) shrinks. Also the later it is, the less it will undermine our current sponsorship arrangements (with AIA etc.).

To say that we'll get 'much bigger' offers nearer the time of opening doesn't make much sense, as the nearer we get to our first game without a signed deal, the stronger the negotiating position gets for the potential sponsor.

This type of deal is a big investment from a potential sponsor, and their aren't too many organisations who just have 8 or 9 figure amounts of unallocated marketing budget lying around to be spent with less than 12 months notice.

Obviously every deal is different, but having played a peripheral role in a venue naming deal I'd say it's pretty likely that discussions with at least one preferred partner will be near completion by the time we get to a year from opening. The one I worked on took 2 years from serious expression of interest to signing of contracts, and then the public announcement was delayed by nearly 6 months.

That reads as some degree of informed commentary.

Only 8 more floors to go....
Someone said we've done -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 so how many more to go, 8 seems a lot! I know it doesn't neatly work out because there are different floors and heights on different sides, but roughly?
