The Blue & Yellow ITK Bonanza Thread

Why do you say that Bale is sulking?

Its pathetic the way Spurs fans do this - some team like RM start publicly tapping up our players and then our fans turn against said player. Give the guy a break - with supporters like you saying things like that, I wouldn't blame him if he wanted out

Bale could very easily put a stop to all this.....if he wants to stay that is. Why are you getting on the back of Spurs fans who are sick of all these stories about Bale moving to Madrid. Its ruined our pre season, must be hell for AVB and his staff to get his players to focus whilst all this cr@p is surrounding the club, and yet poor innocent Bale stays silent and allows it all to happen.

I'm sure Bale must want to go but probably understands there is a good chance of it not happening this summer so I can understand him not coming out publicly either way. There's no benefit for him to do so.
I have a feeling he will stay....... I hope!

Latest I heard.

90% likely to be this summer.

Agent has broken promise to us and has used the media along with Madrid to upset Bale, BOTH telling it's now or never.

We want £100m plus Contreao, asked about Morata.

They have verbally offerred 80m euros nothing in writing, we also want assurances on payments with the majority paid up front.

JJetset on SC:

We are going to be very strong this season and really be a force to be reckoned with.

Sorry but i do know what is happening with Gareth currently as of today and a load of crap being spoken. I appreciate all the other ITK's passing on info but you really have to take with a pinch(like mine) as you dont know how far they are from the source and who is telling their source. What i can guarantee (this is why i'm retiring)that they arent as close to the actual story as me. I dont mean that in a derogatory way at all its just a fact.

I personally really hope this all falls over and we get to keep Gareth however its just not the case unfortunately at this point in time.

I wont comment either on why AVB is saying something different.

Either way its going to be an exciting season for us IMHO.

How is he wrong so often then?

What do you want him to say? He seems to like playing for Spurs but any player would be interested in playing for RM. If you were his shoes and you WERE NOT a Spurs fan, then clearly it would interest you. Similarly, he's been happy at Spurs and wouldnt want to rock the boat in case it falls through. There's not really much he can say is there - "yes i'm happy at Spurs but would also be very happy to play for Real", ""yes i'm happy at Spurs but would prefer to play for Real" ? None of those really acheive much

Its also a pretty moot point what Bale wants anyway. Until Real have made an offer to the club which is acceptable in terms of overall value and payment shcedule, then Bale doesnt have a decision to make does he?

i dont mind that he wants to join Real, he has been at Spurs 6 years and for nearly 4 of those years he has been a top player for us. Imo he has done more than enough for us, especially last season when it was almost a one man mission to get us to the CL

I liked Benteke's attitude this summer. He wanted to leave, handed in an official transfer request, A Villa said they were disappointed but said that any interested club had better move quickly to make an offer and if not he would be staying....no-one came forward with an acceptable offer, so Benteke decided to sign a new contract with Villa and will start the season with them

everything in the open and done correctly

Yep, the Benteke situation has some similarities but isnt exactly the same - for a player who isnt a Spurs fan, Real Madrid has much more pull/attraction than Tottenham. This is particularly the case for Benteke who is thought to be an Arsenal fan and has said before that he wants to play for them. For him therefore, whilst moving from Villa to Spurs would have been a slight step up, it wouldnt have been that much of a step up (again in his eyes). Whereas for a non-Spurs fan player, moving from Spurs to RM would be a bigger step up

imo Bale is behaving like Rooney is...wanting to leave, faking an injury and not training/playing games, not saying a word to anyone but allowing all the negative speculation for his club to continue, not wanting to hand in an official transfer request because it will somehow damage his reputation with the fans as well as forfeit any money due in his contract , the whole will he/wont he leave saga is distracting Moyes pre season preparations

these are the types of players i have a problem with. If you want to leave, hand in an official transfer request and take it from there

truth we will never know what happened but like someone said above, the one who could come out to put a stop to all this is Bale. If he doesn't want to go, there would be no discussion.

what would handing in a transfer request actually achieve? We have said he isn't for sale so would reject any such request.

The club knows where he stands and he knows where the club stands. The only problem is with supporters who can't handle all the speculation.

really??? ok then

really??? ok then

What is it that you're disagreeing with then exactly? :-S

You think the club doesn't know where Bale stands?
You think Bale doesn't know we won't sell unless a stupid offer comes in?

What do you think a transfer request would actually achieve? We're under no obligation to accept the request so i fail to see who this would actually benefit - other than Real who could use it as a reason to argue the price down.

The Journalist

Update from conversation I had yesterday.
Bale is not for sale unless Tottenham receive a ridiculous offer. The money offered, and quoted in the press, even though a world record, is not deemed ridiculous by the spurs board. Tottenham have told Madrid this. There are no current negotiations and no current contact between the clubs.
Tottenham feel they must be compensated for the commercial outlay and immediate loss of earnings if Bale goes. This would mean an offer significantly north of £80 million.

The payment structure that was written in the press is rubbish. No fee has been agreed; so talk of payment structure is very wide of the mark; no negotiations are taking place.

Regarding the player swap, the Portuguese left back, Tottenham don’t want it involved in the Bale transfer and here’s why.
I have already mentioned that AVB was offered Luke Shaw as a potential target and AVB refused.
The Portuguese left back, was a target before the Madrid/Bale saga. Tottenham were quoted a price and wanted to discuss terms. Then the Bale saga kicked off and Madrid decided to negotiate at a higher price.

On Bale.
He has not refused to train. He has been working on his fitness.
It was AVB’s decision not to play him on tour.
He wanted to stay at Tottenham and asked his agent to negotiate a deal for next year.
Real Madrid said to him it’s now or never. He would be happy to stay for another year.
He doesnt feel he is ready to move.
It’s difficult for him and not fair to question or to slag off his character.

So it’s going to take an amazing offer to get him.

Other news.
There are offers on the table for Sigurðsson and Adebayor.
And more of opinion than anything else, but from what I’ve heard Tottenham will go back for the Brazilian kid.

ok, no transfer request needed then.

Good to see someone back up their view with some reasoning

i said in the original post where i mentioned Benteke that i prefer everything out in the open and that its the correct thing to do. For the fans, maybe for the club from a financial point of view as well.

you made your point, and you are right . If Bale has informed the club what he wishes, and the club have told him what they want, and its all done behind closed doors then thats the way it will be and we have to wait and see what develops

Exactly, transfer request achieves nothing if Real arent willing to pay the price we want

Though this is where the public tapping up by their officials and players starts to come in - Bale will feel wanted by RM but frustrated that a deal hasnt happened. AVB and the rest of teh Spurs players, coaches and fans need to make sure that Bale feels wanted rather than doing anything to drive him away and tinkle him off

I don't normally get info and it comes from a reliable source so I believe it. It is nothing new to the story but I was told over the weekend thatBale has said he wants to go if we accept an offer.(Also, its OT but BAE is in talks with Inter).

JASPER - SO

I have always shared in absolutely honesty with no bs and good faith. There are many times I cannot divulge otherwise I will expose where it should have come from and investigated within. I personally do not give a damn to the noted few that seem to trail and abuse my every post.

I have had enough and will refrain from anymore opinions, even if veiled as opinions when I know more. When the time is right I will invite certain people on here to meet me then opinions will change. I have said on a couple of occasions I have had enough but now after today it is final.

There are many on here who know my sources and more than that. I tried to share in good faith to enlighten and have a bit of friendly banter but in my opinion this forum has declined. For now I will stick around as I consider but certainly will not be posting anything
again. For today I will respond to anything thrown at me within reason but tomorrow I stop.

I tried and was trying to be vague expecting readers to understand the vagueness as i really do not want to breach confidentiality. I am not a scholar of the English language which now seems obvious and lends itself to being misunderstood. My opinions I will state is only my opinion but normally based upon what I have knowledge of. I once use to write to the point and was challenged few years ago and adapted my style.

Ok, Ginola will join us as a coach in some form. Dawson out for a good while, YK nowhere near ready against popular opinion that he is. Sandro we are aiming for him to get a run out Saturday. We do not want to loose Scotty (AVB). 2 more signings pending and very close in the defensive unit.

LookLikeModric on Velkojvic being involved this season:

I would expect so too mate. We are looking at a french centre back over the w/e.
