hoofs are pretty much inevitable when you play with 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders, there is noone who you can pass even tho they are under pressure (like a modric). Not only are we missing Modric and Ade, but also our two best passing defenders in BAE and Ledley.

D'ho you misunderstood. I dont think it is a tactic! It is dawsons style of play, hoof all day long. Hence his own players asking to stop it. He does it regardless, Defoe never going to be in which a chance. But of course in PL games with all fit Dawson doesn't start so all good.
 
Ugh, hate seeing Saha have any physical contact like he did in the box there when his boot came off - he's been injured so, so many times in situations like that over the years.
