No doubt Lloris is the best keeper but you need to play your second choice otherwise he will nto want to stay. If you dont play them "in the cup" you end up with Turnbull as your second chioce.

simple either you gamble that your keeper does not get injured and play your No1 or you give your second choice a chance and can keep him happy
 
Am actually pretty confident going into this game. We have a one nil lead.


Granted Lyon have the away goal, however we are a far better team on the counter attack. Bale and Lennon both have the ability to break at pace and tear teams to shreds.


Get one goal early and Lyon need to score twice to force extra time. The only goals in the first leg were wonder goals which makes me think we can contain their offense, but they can't afford to sit back.
 
Lyon stayed back and played on counter last game, we strugle with teams playing this way, and now they have to move out and we play great against teams atacking.

my prediction 1-3 to us!
 
I'd be happy with a draw, I'd definitely take one.

Just hope after what happened to our fans it spurs our team up for a great performance and we win!!!

Massive test for us.

They are used to playing Champions league games as it showed in the first leg. At home they have beaten the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United, Bayern Munich in recent seasons.

We`ll have to be at 100% or we can forget about Europa league.

I will go with that. I am a big Deuce fan but I think we improved when Holtby came on in the first leg. Glad there are no problems about Ade and I am confident about progressing.

I think that's just about our strongest squad available at the moment, so I'm happy with the selection tonight.

Holtby in place of Dempsey is a very positive move from AVB - let's hope the lad does himself proud tonight.
 
Hard to tell conclusively from this picture, but it looks like we'll be wearing white shirts and navy shorts tonight...

We may need to batten down the hatches late in the game so I can see the logic. There are goals and great defence in that squad, I like it.
Isn't Carroll on loan?
