+ OMT - Spurs vs Man Utd +

We have been two or three players short of being good team, for at least the last five years. Just when it looks to come together someone leaves. We get a couple of talented players in and then someone leaves. The squad never seems to catch up. There are always holes in the squad and frankly, I dont see Levy ever changing this.

maybe it has nothing to do with him but maybe all to do with the chairman who maybe wants to leave everything to the last minute to maybe save money even if it means we miss out on someone we maybe need, maybe?

Too many times he fudges us over. He is not in the team in merit, but because he has scored a few. He is an awful centre forward for the tactics and formation we play.

We desperately need and upgrade but because he gets 15-20 goals a season from his 100+ chances he stays.
 
Seriously, only got ourselves to blame if we lose this. Foy's made some stupid decisions but we just havent taken our chances

remember thinking when carrick had left if he had hung around to wait for berbatov then we could have been good, im sure i will say it when we lose bale. Sadly clubs like us and evrton can never hang on to our good ones long enough to build a proper good squad.

Every squad always has holes in it though. What has been inexcusable for us are the striking options since Berbatov left. We've had a long time to replace him and haven't come anywhere near.
 
It hasn't been great today

But we've had about 4 or 5 good efforts which have whistled wide or hit the keeper or deflected wide

On another day 3 of those fly in and we're in dreamland singing everyone's praises

But yeah, it hasn't been great

Nor has it been woeful

I honestly believe we can hang onto Bale next year so, if we get top 4, we have a great chance of pushing up further. AVB is doing well - we're just a couple players short
