It still begs the question that even if Spurs fans (whether Jewish or not) are flamboyant Yids does that justify what went on 24 hours ago? Or to put it another way, does the fact that people may align themselves to a group you don't like justify head splitting violence?

I can't help thinking that the perpertrators of what went on are inclined to head splitting violence rather than head splitting violence against Jews and so they are the problem.

I'd like to know Peter Herbert's thoughts on Gay Pride. Using Hebert's logic, Gay Pride encourages homophobia.

(*Not that I'm suggesting Sky may adopt the same stance if you leave them for Virgin Media or Freeview)

I think I've posted this before, but that sort of logic is no different to saying women should stop wearing short skirts after every incident of a rape.

That's the fudgein problem with this whole debate. Them ****s Herbie n Sky etc are 'targetting' the wrong people. It shouldn't be about spurs dropping the term Yid, its about how Italian clubs particularly Roma and Lazio should be punished severely and banned from Europe.
 
Maybe black people should just put a bag over their head. People wouldn't be racist to them if they don't know what race they are in the first place.
 
Actually scrap that. That in turn will lead to vilification of people with bags over their head and calling them baggies.

In which case, the SBL will be on WBAs case.

You have to credit the Lazio fans. They recognised our closet racist behaviour and stabbed Spurs fans mascaraing as Liverpool fans in 1984, following it up with targeting other undercover fans at Middlesbrough and United matches over the last decade. They have been active in the fight against racism much longer than Baddiel and the Herbert who have wasted their time trying to be comedians and lawyers.
