He said he sees Savio as a right wing….What does De Zerbi see in Tel?! Why is he still on the pitch? Savio should have come on and run at Frimpong.
The fact he got absolutely 0 out of Frimpong is telling. Frimpong is awful defensively and Tel got clamped by him. What does De Zerbi see in Tel?! Why is he still on the pitch? Savio should have come on and run at Frimpong.
Concerning. He said he sees Savio as a right wing….
YepConcerning.
Tiddlywinks?I think Tel worked hard in difficult circumstances, that's not his game
I totally understand that fans are frustrated with him but the abuse he was getting last night was out of order imo.
He looks shot of confidence - although even with confidence he may still not be good enough - but I really fail to understand how calling him a c every time he got anywhere near the ball (and sometimes even when he wasn’t) is supposed to help. Fortunately he seems a pretty strong character but everyone has a breaking point.
He gets it at home but last night it felt quite a bit ramped up. Maybe I was unfortunate with those around me. I was going to say something to one bloke behind me but then realised it was far more than one person so I just took the easy approach of saying nothing.Wow, didn't realise he was getting abuse from some of the away fans....that's horrible!

At one point on the TV, I remember hearing him getting stick. Bergvall, who had a good game, played a ball into him in their box and Tel turned back to groans. Fact was, the ball Bergvall played wasn't good enough and hadn't enough pace on it so Tel had no option.I totally understand that fans are frustrated with him but the abuse he was getting last night was out of order imo.

I’m not excusing it, but to me it’s clear as day - a large section of the fanbase is fed up after the last few seasons and patience is short supply. There is a bizarre dynamic in the fanbase this season.
he has one trick. Run fast, then turn back inside and either lay it off or try to move over the box to have a shot. That is it. As soon as you just block his path inside he is done. he has to lay it off. Not once have I seen him beat a man on the outside and cross with his left. You have to have that in your lock if you are going to keep the right back honest. And he does not. So last night was a game he just passed it off inside every single time. And he is supposed to be a winger.
he is not learning. He is not getting better. If RDZ sees Savio as a right winger then where is Kudus going? becuase they are our best two wingers.
The 'C' word is nasty and don't get why our fans use it to slag off a player, don't consider it racist though, unless you saw some other comment?I’m not excusing it, but to me it’s clear as day - a large section of the fanbase is fed up after the last few seasons and patience is short supply.
It certainly doesn’t excuse racism - fudge those clams! - but, to me, it explains a lot.
