Hahah yeh my thoughts exactly. For 75m I'd like an attacking player who is a shooter tbh

On a positive note, I thought Tosin was excellent. Bergvall grew into the game too
League goalfair questions considering we could be going into international break without a win
Your wife already knows himI look forward to meeting you, and so does my wife
True, but everyone knows the quality of Szoboszlai’s delivery, so it’s yet another error—a recurring lack of footballing intelligence.Bergvall got drawn to the ball leaving Szo free in space. Obviously you can't really account for that kind of hit.

Everyone on this forum—and even at the stadium on Saturday—spotted things during the game that the players on the pitch missed.
Take Archie Gray’s forward runs, for instance; none of our players saw them.
We aren't professionals, but I can say that what I heard on Saturday and what I’m reading here makes it glaringly obvious.
Our footballing IQ is higher than theirs... the only thing they have over us is physicality.
Sure I do hear that, but if we even 5 minutes of research on him they would know that A. He's a creator not a goal scorer and B. When he does score it's when he's playing from the left. Playing him from the right is maximising what he's not good at.
I said before we signed him, I wouldn't pay £75m for him to play on the right because well frankly I don't think he's particularly good there. There are a LOT of better options than him on the right imo. Kudus being the obvious one in our own ranks.
100%
Those who will actually push such a narrative are the online banter-mongers who are kicking us while we're the butt of the joke , or the doom-merchant Spurs fans who have become ground down. Understandable.
Feels like Baleforce wants it to happen, but I've become inured to his toxic gabbling and facile wind-up schtick. Maybe 1 in 100 times, he'll post something of worth. That may be too high an estimate though.
Other forwards exist. When is the last time our scouts sniffed out a player that wasn’t completely exposed.
So to be clear you think we should have signed Watkins on a £820k PW 4 year deal?
I don’t disageee but he’s arguing we sign Watkins for £4M a month.
This is my problem. Why don’t we go and buy the 35m version (or the like). We shouldn't have paid 75m for a player they paid 35m for and who failed for them.
Completely agree. I think if anything we are already seeing some small signs of gelling. Should have had 2 goals in first half. The trouble is Savio looks like Tel mk2 at the moment and the rest of our expensive signings look very average. I said very early in the thread about the players Pool had on the bench. We did not have one player in our squad who can hit a ball like all 3 of their goals. I keep hearing the same old talk, just wait until it gels but I just cant see it. And let’s not forget their starting line up was no where near full strength. If we cant get a result at the weekend I think the alarm bells will really be sounding loud
If we get relegated, I’ll bring everyone on this board out for an expensive steak dinner. You can bring your better halves too.
No way it’s happening. Results are grim at the moment but it will get better.
CRAZY decision to let him goInsufficient privileges to post here...
Now that the young man has signed a new contract methinks he deserves his own thread.

So will post on this thread, scored his 8th goal of the season this evening. Every game it looks more and more daft to sell him.
