Well they are keeping the Standards Commissioner busy for sure
Shame Polanski has given them a distraction.
Refusing to apologise to keep the story going as well.

Yep. Said above by not apologising Polanski’s giving more oxygen to the topic and Reform.Refusing to apologise to keep the story going as well.
What do you think I am falsley suggesting is a conspiracy here?
I'd encourage nobody to engage with this troll until he chooses to discuss in good faith.
I went to see the theatre production of To Kill A Mockingbird today. Or was brilliant.
But also depressing because, whilst I’m not comparing here to the 1930s American Deep South, there was still a resonance with what we see happening all around us now.
Do us lowly ignorant peons a favour and for once spell out what you are expressing would you?

Even more so now with Tice being referred.
I did not suggest anything Steff.
Here's my post again (which I had actually deleted but received reply before it wiped I suppose)...
"Do us lowly ignorant peons a favour and for once spell out what you are expressing would you?"
Did you read his reasoning?
He has testified openly over 200 times to Congress but feels Rand Paul is weaponising this and refuses to give even a soundbite that could be out of context quoting. Seems reasonable.
Still 439 more times pleading the 5thtil he catches up with the Tangerine Taco.
Rob,
It's tedious. I believe you know exactly what the reference was to. Just in case, here's what you said in reply to Lost Mango's reply to your posting of Faucci pleading the 5th.
Here's the context.
It's all good if you don't want to get into it further...however it is a leading comment, somewhat delivered in a bait-style you appear to enjoy.
Maybe I should stop biting LOL...
<<
If you want to believe that sure.>>
Nobody sound on mind can beleive that Fauci plead the 5th today because he doesn’t want to give soundbites to to Rand Paul. If it were the case, he would have happily answered the questions from the other members and just plead when questioned by Paul.
But if you want to beleive that….sure.
I don't know what you believe, other than not him.
BTW, inferring that anybody who believes Fauci isn't of 'sound mind' is just a tad fudged up isn't it? Especially you then don't say what it is you believe?
Gets hammered in the comments which is good to see.I am sorry to anyone who is a fan of this lot, but they are really pathetic
'A soundbite'?????
(Copied from news outlets)
'Fauci said he invoked the Fifth Amendment on the advice of his lawyers because he believed his answers could expose him to new legal risks.
He argued that Paul was trying to build a criminal case against him rather than conduct legitimate congressional oversight.'
I think it's a little more than fear of a 'soundbite'.
He has in the past said he felt it was a natural outbreak but was open to all conclusive answers with evidential pathways.
He has perceived this latest set of actions to be motivated by partisan politics as opposed to actually wanting an answer to the question.
I believe people of 'sound mind' don't trivialise what is happening simply to suit their own predetermined beliefs.
I am sorry to anyone who is a fan of this lot, but they are really pathetic
I am not really following this case as I have a natural Covid fatigue on all these stories, what is it they are trying to achieve? I tried reading a report on it but it just seems like a load of word soup. Are they trying to say he is complicit in the outbreak because they have invested in Chinese labs? Or am I getting that wrong?
Surely they are not trying to get him charged criminally for lockdowns etc??
Apologies, I deleted my post because, well, what's the point LOL.
Happy to offer my view. I think Fauci feels he is potentially being set-up with this hearing.
He was advised to plead the 5th by lawyers.
Rand Paul posited this at the end of the hearing: "Did [Fauci’s] actions lead to the largest man-made plague in history?").
This is a reasonable summary of the latest.

I just think casually saying that someone was pleading the 5th to 'avoid soundbites' trivializes something just a tad deeper. Call me old-fashioned eh?...
