Fixture & Ticket News 26/27

Interesting it says that Brentford tickets will be digital. Is this new?
I thought they were all still paper which is how all the LP harvesters were able to buy and sell them on. Mind you, it’s been so long since I’ve been able get an away Prem ticket I think the last one I got was in Latin.

There was a ticketing update issued on the Spurs website late last season about digital ticketing across the Premier League so I think most clubs will have a digital system in place also depending on which type of phone you have rolling QR codes are being introduced.

No. I think most away games I went to last year had digital tickets. Leeds was paper I remember as mine didn’t arrive in time. Maybe one or two others.
Still easy for the point harvesters - easier than a paper ticket to just forward an email with the link to the ticket.

Found this on PL site . All clubs apart from newly promoted clubs must have digital ticketing installed, phones without NFC will use a rotating QR code and looks like phones using NFC will have a hidden rotating QR code, maybe it will stop the black market in away tickets , have to wait and see.

First marker will be the Brentford game, that chart has a 402 cut off point based on historical data , from the loyalty table 1,436 ST's are on 400 and above, the allocation is 1,725.
I have no personal interest in attending away games but it is time there was far more clarity over the away allocation, exactly how many are available to GA ST's and premium ST's and how many tickets do the club take for players staff etc.

What I find funny about our away support is that I see kids in the away end 12/13/14 years old, I have had a ST for about 11 years and I am nowhere near enough points to get an away ticket how did they get enough points, they would have been around 3 or 4 years old when I got my ST :)

It’s split 80% for GA STs and 20% for Premium/Sponsors/Players.
So using Brentford the allocation available to GA STs is 1,380. Any of the 20% not taken up is supposedly made available to GA ST holders.

From what I understand is there are many underhand things happening so those that have their points etc are keeping them, its a properly closed shop now, as with loyalty I think it should be, but 100% there are people not attending games with their ST and points being redeemed
