Will Lankshear

I think it’s possible due to how Evan Ferguson was given chance by RDZ at Brighton. I think Lankshear is given pre season tour to impress and then decision will be made on his next journey.
Whatever happens he will have at least two players in front of him so playing time would be minimal.

Woltemade + Lewandoski with Lankshear in the squad to learn would be good.

Why do you think javing Woltemade who scored a paltry 8 league goals last season and 38 year old Lewandoski who struggles wjen having to play 90 minutes, would be good for us?

People get too wedded down in very basic stats as if that's conclusive evidence - All I ever see is people quoting goals and assists as statistical evidence of attackers performance, actual football analysts are looking at things far deeper than that and even the basic eye test tells you more.

Statistically Richi scores at an ok rate, but his overall game impacts the way the team plays - technically he's not great, and can't hold the ball up so whilst one goal in 3 games sounds ok he isn't really helping the rest of the attack by bringing other attackers into play.

Specifically talking about Woltemade, it's his first season in the league and young enough to grow - He looks techinically good, can hold the ball up and physically up to the task. He would be a big upgrade on what we have IMO.....

Woltemade, if available, is a good traditional 9. As a team who finishes 17th, I wouldn't turn up my nose at him.

Woltemade is anything but a traditional 9!! Just ask the barcodes....

He may have the physique but his playing style is definitely not that of a centre forward.

Rashford has never delivered playing as a central striker. We should buy a natural striker, not someone who could just do a job.

Gutterboy mentioned Ramos, now he appeals to me.

Yes I said that in a situation where we would sell both Solanke & Richarlison and sign Ramos with Tel/Lankshear as back ups and Rashford as the emergency option.

I think Ramos is the ideal type. Robust enough to be a lone forward, but also a goal machine.

Well Rashford is on 350k a week and while he would take a pay cut to play for Barca, I see no reason why he would do so to play for us. In fact I would question whether he is worth £200K a week, but no way would is he worth more.
