I don't think he was changing direction or pivoting....just slowing down rapidly.
Unless some contact with the Wolves player unbalanced him.
Not watched it back tbh

Maybe there was some more abuse like he experienced in the stadium
Beyond that’s it’s likely to be nothing
He got abuse from our guys yesterday? Jesus fudging christ.

poor regime can make you more prone to injury. Genetics can make you more prone to injury. 2 players could have the same stress put on the ACL and one goes and one doesn'tNot ACLs. They are always over-extensions, never stress related. It's like blaming a broken leg on overuse.
Ah an other social media expert, may well be true but I'll wait until the club or Donald Trump make a statement about the extent of the injury.
And it’s not the manager causing the issues
Not ACLs. They are always over-extensions, never stress related. It's like blaming a broken leg on overuse.
Who’d have thought that making footballers play high intensity games twice a week all year round after squeezing in extra tourneys during the summer holidays would result in this spate of ACL injuries eh….

Every ACL injury in the Premier League this season
More than TEN players have suffered the most devastating injury this season 😭www.givemesport.com
If your body is weaker then you are more likely to over extend.
Not strictly true at all.
An overrun and underrested body will perform differently. Your posture, quad strength/hip strength will be different. Your whole system might be slightly off-kilter. How you move (biomechanically) can alter how you plant/land. My son was over-training with two teams may years ago; I suggested he tell both coaches and ask to only do one session a week with each of them. He didn't. He was tired playing and went into a challenge without proper balance/strength, was caught, the knee was flexed (foot in a plant position). Had he been rested and ontop of his physical game, he would've gone into the challenge differently. It's well-known that tired hamstrings and quads can contribute.
ACLs also give due to jarring pivots/cuts, landing poorly and direct impact bending the knee. Hyperextension is only one cause.
If only we had Maddison or Kulusevski available to offer a rotation option for the manager.
Hopefully Lange (or whomever is in charge of recruitment this summer) shall sign some replacements for our creative trio (plus cover for Kudus and Odobert) instead of hoping that they’ll all make miraculous recoveries in time for pre-season![]()
A few years ago I said that I thought the way the game was going we were looking at closer to 35 man match day squads, careers lasting 10 years max as opposed to 14-15, and a greater number of subs allowed. If the game continues to flog players then it is the only way...
