Reminds me of this episode of Ripping Yarns ' Golden Gordon'. Their team can't buy a win, they have no players so they end up getting their old team back from when they were good some 30 or so years prior despite them all being pensioners for one final hurrah.
Although the fictional team' 'Barnestoneworth United' are obviously some lower league/non league side it really does encapsulate the often despair or supporting your football club extremely well.
Very funny if you haven't seen it and quite relatable for us atm.

Yeah. Kinda thought De Zerbi could be a decent option when we sacked Frank, but obvious downsides. Then again, no candidates without clear downsides... No obvious right choice here.

I was watching the Cheltenham Festival yesterday and Harry Rednapp was being interviewed because he owned a horse that was going to be running in the Gold Cup. He was asked if he would be interested in managing Spurs for the rest of the season. He said he definitely would and he’d jump at the chance. He wasn’t joking at all. Who can I tell???

Out of all the names being talked about, if any of them were in the dugout for Madrid, the biggest buzz would be for Redknapp, and that's what the players need too. I dont think you'd have the same anticipation with any of the others.

I doubt any of our player, bar Ben Davies, know who Redknapp is. Most would only have been at junior school when he was last in the game. Gray would have been 6YO
