***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur Football Club vs AFC Bournemouth***

Going forward we've looked half-decent for a change. Defensively we've been terrible, the lack of marking and lack of closing crosses down is criminal.
Earlier move, even though eventually found to be offside, we had 8 players in our area and they only had 3 yet managed to carve out a chance that went wide.

I have no idea why we drop so deep!!! As soon as the ball goes across the half way line into our half, the defensive line drops inside our box!!!

Because he wasn’t involved until after.

I could stand next to the keeper whilst you get played through 1 on 1 from the half way line. As soon as I move back behind the ball and you square it for me to finish, I’m fine.

His legs are gone and have been since his leg injury, plus now his passing is atrocious. He needs to go!
 
We are playing slightly better attacking wise for sure. I actually think not having Kudus helps us be a bit quicker and more flowing rather than having to pass the ball to him every time and in turn him slowing everything down.....
 
I know we are short of players but every time we play 2 DM we don`t offer anything going forward. Tel got lucky with the deflection off the defenders heel otherwise the keeper would have saved it comfortably. Bergvall doing his usual run around like a headless chicken having a couple of pot shots but not even testing the keeper. We just look so average at the moment. The manager needs time but it seems like he is trying something different every game and it`s just not working. Trouble is I look at the bench and dont feel inspired one bit.
Still plenty of time to turn it around though

A lot of kids with enthusiasm but not holding shape when defending. Kinda as expected. Tel has been a revelation. Not many other positives. Lots of intent I guess.
 
A left footed left back might show them towards the line a bit more for both goals. Romero has got to do more on the first one as well.

Worryingly since going behind we looked not as good going forward.

Defensive solidity?? It was just basic defending that schoolboys are taught to do that was needed. Close down the crosser and pick up the men in the box. There were plenty of players back to do that, nothing to do with the system. If he can't coach players to do those basics...
