*** OMT: Spurs vs Sunderland*** Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sunday 4th January, 3pm

Played some nice attacking stuff, just missing some cutting edge. By far the better side

Thing is, it's heavily related to the ability of our players. I'm not sure how much tactically can be done to make them more ruthless/professional.

The other side to the coin is that technically it's our second string attack.

Williams Barnet has an eye for goal.

The play from defence and midifeld has been good. And our approach play attacking the box better. But the final pass and shot still a bit championship.

Huge improvement. Much more aggressive winning the ball back and being first to the second ball. The intent is always to go forward. Too much long ball from Vicario for my liking but I'll take it over what's been dished up previously. Getting into some really good positions, a little bit more quality and/or better decision making and we'd be out of sight.

That is as good a performance as I’ve seen in months. Effort has been outstanding, the press has been coordinated, the intent has been good. Defensively very solid. Odobert been the pick of a very good bunch.

Only watch points are that we’ve taken an extra touch too often and I can’t imagine Sunderland will be that poor second half. I haven’t watched much of them but if they’re where they are in the table, they must be better than that.

Everything I’d hoped for so far. This is something to at least get behind.

We've had at least 19 touches in the opposition box, in previous games we haven't come close to that because we've actually played with attacking intent today.

You want to put it on the ability of our players, well the graphics have been posted about how much more individual players were passing the ball forwards last season compared to this season, and that's down to the manager.

No one would be criticising if we was trying to play forward and things not coming off, like some of the play today. But today we have been positive, and as such has been a better watch and like you say this isn't even our usual forward line....

I think its more about the turnovers Sunderland have gifted us in their 3rd, and their general quality level

the game plan is the same as it was against Brentford, just Brentford barely made any mistakes
