Thomas Frank - Head Coach

He was able to play differently there as he had better creative and attacking players.

He had one creative player in his squad in Damsgaard and he had a lot of physical forwards (the opposite of richy for example)
The key was the players after 7 years got it
Here they don’t want to play that wayb

I doubt if anyone is happy with what we’re seeing but most people would think 5 months is not enough time to give a definitive verdict.
I agree but then I get people saying we did it with Nuno and it worked
leverksuen did it this year with a certain ex united manager and now look like a top side
Hell even forest did with Ange so quick
Giving the right guy time is key
Is Frank the right guy
We don’t know who appointed him but he was due a big job. Do have to wonder United and Chelsea did want him when they interviewed him

I think it’s clear that Thomas Frank isn’t and won’t be the right manager for us. We could choose to persist with him but to what end?! The board want regular European football and we’re heading further away from that.

If there were signs of hope then fair enough. But I don’t see any. We’ve already seen players act in ways which hinted at not being fully behind the manager. We show no passion far too often. We don’t appear to have any in play routines to create chances. At times it’s almost like Thomas Frank just sent the players out and told them just do what you do. I’m sure that isn’t the case but we don’t really have any identity right now.

I worry that we will lose key players if we fall away from the UCL places. We need to act before it’s too late I feel.

Just watched the post match interview and tbh there’s absolutely nothing wrong with what he said. However, football fans aren’t always the most reflective or rational people. And it usually only ends one way when you start digging out the fans. Even if it’s completely justified. Ange found that out to his detriment.

I’m with you. Personally I don’t think he’s the right manager for us or ever will be but he deserves time to make whatever he’s trying to put in place work.

That's because he was the worst manager I've ever seen in charge of Spurs and that includes Tim Sherwood. Unfortunately, this manager seems almost equally unfit for the job.
Sherwood was statistically out best manager in the whole PL era in terms of points per premier league game…. He was WAY better than this clown.

I think he’ll be gone before then. I don’t think he’ll see the year out. If we lose v Saudi Sportswashing Machine he may be gone within the week. I think the lack of home support. The booing. People not turning up, and so many trying to sell their seats. This will force a decision.
Gone for who?
I was underwhelmed when Frank was appointed and I kind of still feel the same but we can’t keep jettisoning managers on a whim when things are looking bad. We need to give him the season, and the summer window and the next season (barring relegation risk)- unless we have a managerial genius up our sleeve to replace him.
We know that Vinai gave Legohead time and leeway so he may be the same here - as long as there’s a billion in the bank to spend of course 😀

Edit - should add that attacking/entertaining football is still a requirement
