Looked so much better in a 2
Best CF performance we've seen since Kane
I've purposely not over gassed his arrival because I didn't want to set expectations to high, but he's genuinely super talented. I've kind of despaired at times when I've seen chat he should play on the left or some other random position.
In a way he's a combination of Richarlison and Solanke attributes but I think he's better than both at most of them. It's been really frustrating for me with his injury status up to now because I was so excited when we signed him, just because he's truly a player I rated before hand and we rarely ever bring in players I've rated previously. Even last January I was really bummed we didn't get him so to get him in the summer was a happy moment but then the dead leg hit.
I don't expect him to be all things to all people but in terms of attributes he's by far the most suited forward on our books for this season. Quick, strong, good fudging technique for once, has a football brain, very good link up etc. the weakest part of his game is probably his finishing but even in that regard he's not poor by any means, just not a cold blooded bagaman. I'm hoping now he has his goals, that will help win over the fan base and he can really get going.
As I said I've tried not to get be over the top with him, but when we got him on loan, my expectation has always been that I really expect that we will want to sign him at the end of it due to his quality.
If he gets some love and gets games I think he'd be willing to make this his home. He reportedly really wanted to stay at Juve after his successful loan spell but they couldn't make the finances work. Juve have now moved on with David so presumably, Muani will have to as well.I’d love his loan to become permanent as I genuinely think he’d be great for us. I just don’t know if he sees it the same way
He strikes the ball with a lot of power for those goals.
Let's hope he will want to actually stay with us.I've purposely not over gassed his arrival because I didn't want to set expectations to high, but he's genuinely super talented. I've kind of despaired at times when I've seen chat he should play on the left or some other random position.

I think he's also just getting more match fit and used to the physicality.
I hope we don't have to sacrifice Kudus to get Richy in routinely anyway.
This is what Frank had to sayHE should be used to the physicality of playing against a french team?
"We're all impatient. I'm impatient, everyone is impatient, but Randal is coming into the club late, with no pre-season. That means he's not at the fitness level he needs to be - he's still not at the fitness level he needs to be. Then he's getting two setbacks and that's why it just takes time, unfortunately, but tonight you saw some of that."
"As I said the whole time, he came in late with no pre-season, not top fit, had two setbacks, especially with the dead leg and then the broken jaw. Today we saw more of it. He's still not top fit, so hopefully we'll come even more.”
This is what Frank had to say
I don't think it makes any difference the level of opposition per se, it's more than the player themselves isn't able to do the things they would if everything was firing on all cylinders.
