I would have loved it if he’d scored in the follow-up from the rebound. It's probably been said, but how can you not give the pen to Scarlett? Karma is a bitch.
That was Frank's argument in the press conferenceWas the Johnson red really deserved? Was watching with the sound low while bouncing a baby on my knee…it looked like the Copenhagen player’s second step got into the space where Johnson had already made his tackle, so it seemed harsh?
They had to catch him firstgreat from Micky
I'll never understand why one of them didn't just take him out though
€35m.Don't see what Tel has to make us spend 60 on him and play him over Scarlett.
that's why its important to get CL - especially with the expanded format.Football is weird eh. From doom and gloom to wonder goals and us looking rampent in the CL. Had our forwards been clinical we could have reached double figures.
Did you name him Sissoko?
Prob cos he is a senior. But having said that it wasn't like it was 0-0 and it was in last few mins. And he should have let Scarlett take it. But cos he misses more than he scores, guess he wanted his own confidence boosted. To hit the crossbar twice in 10min is really something. It's probably been said, but how can you not give the pen to Scarlett? Karma is a bitch.
If kolo scores yeh. And if Rich could find the bigger net instead of metal bars that would be another 2. So 8 at leastI think 6 would have been par
But they are growing in confidence now. Was kind of hoping Forest would beat Utd. And let's hope they don't get an away win at ours. We need to get a 2nd home prem win under Frank.Very nice to get a good, dominant win and a good performance at home, to brush that Chelsea game off the mind of the players and fans. Makes it a lot easier going into the weekend and Manure.
Should be a good game! They're as bad away as we've been at home
The same tackle in another game and I bet they dont get a redThat was Frank's argument in the press conference
Just checking before bed…are we back to thinking that Frank is the dog’s b ollocks? Exactly what the club needs, brilliant progressive football etc?
The very first thing the ref was shown as he approached the screen was a still of the point of contact, which was obviously going to look bad and influence him. It was a silly tackle but not a red and no malice, his foot only went where it did because it bounced up off of the pitch....Very, was just a yellow. VAR showing stills of the point of contact and slow-motions persuades the ref that it's worse than it is.
