We are a very sensible club and don’t usually operate like this. I think some sell on deals are already in place depending on incomings.
 
Surely they take this

Manchester United have submitted a third transfer bid for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo worth £65m plus £5m in add-ons.

Brentford are considering the offer and are yet to make a decision

I love it, Everyone is trying to rinse United on every transfer nowadays! On the flip side they now have a group of deadwood that they won't be able to sell and will just end up loaning again.

Maybe they aren't as much of a draw as what their fans and the media think
Interested in loads of players but as soon as Liverpool/Chelsea are interested it's no thanks

No different to us is it? Diaz was all set to come to us and then soon as Liverpool came to us that was it. And no need to mention what Chelsea have done to us in the past, any player we want to sign and there's always someone on here worried Chelsea are going to come and steal them....
 
Its down to the wages and not always about the size of the club. Obviously if you were a player wanting to win things regularly and had the choice between Liverpool and Spurs or Chelsea and Arsenal, you will always pick Liverpool and Chelsea. If you wanted to go for money you would probably still go to Liverpool or Chelsea as they pay top wages. The only way the likes of us and Saudi Sportswashing Machine can sign players over Chelsea, Liverpool, City is to offer bigger wages which unfortunately isn't going to happen.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine own a country and banks and a percentage of most large companies in the western world.
They can get around "wages".
