Dawson played when we finished 4th. He's also been out for most of the season, and came back brilliantly against Everton. How many other games has he played in?

He isnt a spacegoat. We just want tottenham to be winning games and finish above Chelsea/Arsenal. You cant have Championship players in the team if you want to do that.
Of course he was there when we finished 4th but so were Crouch and Gomes. Maybe you want them to come back?

Agreeing with Totman here, no idea where all this Dawson hate has suddenly emerged from. Give it a year or so ago and Kaboul was a bigger liability than Dawson, just enjoying a good run of form at the moment. Dawson has been at the back on some great runs/games and since we've started playing better football, his hoofing is nowhere near as prevailent as it was

Is the team I would like to see, with Kranjcar for Rafa if heÔÇÖs injured.
I would like to see us keeping hold of the ball at the back without panic and I believe Parker and Modric are the best pairing for that. I want us to frustrate the brick out of Liverpool, a lot of their players seem to not handle that very well. Parker and Modric should be adequate defending against Gerrard and Sandro will hassle Adam all the time + he has the energy to track back when necessary. He also adds pace and energy when weÔÇÖre on the counter attack.
With Modric playing from a deeper position Liverpool will have to press us high and that will leave room for Bale, Ade and VdV who should all be licensed to roam.
IÔÇÖm so excited and nervous for this game, I hate monday kick offs - I am unable to do anything for the entire day!

Dawson is a very solid centre back - he cannot play with Kaboul very well as they both attack the ball but playing with ledley will be fine.
