Johan Lange - Technical Director

So it's Munn, with Lange beneath him and Paratici on the payroll in some form or another, who are heading up the footballing operations atm should keep Levy away from the day to day involvement of that side of things

Yep with a large already assembled scouting and analytical team already in place.

For me it's dynamic and covers alot of bases for the here and now and the future.

Let's see if it works that way

His name means "The Ange" in French so that sounds very promising, it was meant to be.

It's also a famous brand name for skiing equipment. With some spicy ad campaigns that show an appetite for trophies:

Oh, I bet it took many of you a few minutes to find the boots and trophy. Love how her eyes match the colour of the boots in a B&W image.

Hope he's partial to cross-country skiing and not downhill.

My view is that job titles at that level don't necessarily give us a great idea of what their responsibilities are - if you look on the PL website where they list club employees you'll see that at most top clubs they tend to have several people employed with various job titles between CEO/Chairman and the first team manager - I think there's plenty of work to go around at that level, so the more stacked we are there the better.
Academies, loans, women's teams etc...its getting very complicated for big football clubs these days and the best ones have common footballing philosophies so that there is synergy in technical, medical and other shared support resources.

Finally it seems that Levy has his vision that he announced at the appointment of Arnesen fulfilled. (What took him so long?).

Many years there then saw him return to the Midlands as he joined Aston Villa in 2020 as their Sporting Director, where he would be in charge of signings. Emiliano Martinez, Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash are some of the more successful arrivals, though Morgan Sanson and Ross Barkley were perhaps less ideal.

How long has Lange been "accountable" for Villa transfers.

Looking at their most recent transfers...although that may have been Monchi, can someone work it out?

Lenglet and Torres, I think they are not physical enough for the Prem.
Ditto Teilemans.

Zaniolo on loan.
Moussa Diaby for EUR55m, I know nothing about this generic PL named fella.

Are you sure that is a trophy and not a sex toy?
