*** Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City*** OMT

His finishing is average, but his directness and pace will mean he gets more opportunities, so let's see more of him up there, see what he's got.
Agreed, I'd love to see more of Bergwijn, check out what he's got in his locker.
If he can get into those narrow gaps around the defence, wriggle around to find a bit of room, then dart into the space and show us the full package we would all benefit.
He's got what it takes to twist and turn and thrust forwards with his desire to finish the job.
I don't doubt that he would be one of the biggest players at the club, ready to take one for the team and give it his all, bursting into the box and showing us his class.
I can see him darting left and right, pretending to slow down but then racing forth, darting and jabbing, ready for action, thighs hammering, arms pumping, mouth agape as he lurches forwards for another go.

Just watched the highlights - key moment...... after the 2-2 both Bergwijn and Kane went straight to get the ball and battled Schmiechel to get it.
That attitude is key.

That was the Bergwijn on the YouTube vids from PSV today - a forward, not a winger. His finishing is average, but his directness and pace will mean he gets more opportunities, so let's see more of him up there, see what he's got.

The key to the equaliser was that Bergwijn was standing in a dangerous position, right on the P-spot, so he could take a swing at the loose ball. What irks me most about Kane these days is that he never seems to take up those positions any more.

Tremendous win - wonderful nail biter and great drama BUT, BUT, BUT - it could be the worst thing that could happen BECAUSE our Chairman will see this as a statement that the squad isn't that bad - we don't need anther forward as Bergwijn had a stormer, we don't need a RWB as Doherty performed better; we don't need another centre back as we have Romero and Dier to come back and their replacements did well and we can win without them. NEVER underestimate Mr Levy's ability to see positives and money saving opportunities in wins like this - he is a person who simply cannot agree that we are that far behind the top three and wholeheartedly believes that you can win major trophies with a different business model to the top three. BUT enjoy the win and the unbeaten streak - I am - BUT it is will do nothing to convince Levy that we need to invest in the squad.

We are doomed, Captain Mainwaring, doomed, I tell you :(

I had the same concern as well. When we were losing I thought at least Conte scan try and hammer it home that we need reinforcements.

Not that I’m sure it makes much difference to levy either way!

Can people not just enjoy a great win and game without looking for negatives?

Indeed, if a forward spends his life on the penalty spot, he will be in the right place more often than not. Now I'm retired, it seems so obvious to me, where to be in the box.
When someone shoots, if you are 1 foot outside the line of the post you can flick it in if it is going wide OR going in. All about positioning, then everything looks easy; you just flick it 13 inches and proclaim your genius.

Or, you know, just enjoy the moment now and worry about Levy, if you must, tomorrow.

Ironically it was a Jan signing that we seemingly over paid for that got us the win! I guess the form under Conte has made it difficult to find the right time or place to push ones agenda?

You know what, I'll sound old here, I do love seeing those videos and our away fans are brilliant. You always hear them on the TV.

But if I was there, I can't imagine wanting to whip out my phone on the equaliser and especially not on the winner. I find it incredible that people do it but then, I am an old codger.

With an old todger
