I don't think that is as crazy as it sounds. The Liverpool game will have cut Ronaldo to the core, he's a smart man he knows Ole isn't up to it and at this stage he'll hold as much if not more sway in the dressing room.

I've gone for 4-4.

This is my first game in my seat since Ajax 1-0 I think. Never saw Mourinho live, but I have since been to the Bayern Munich spanking in the West stand and those Portuguese melts this season in the East. Pretty poor from me to be honest but will be nice to see what my view looks like again tonight.

Only going because I'm taking 2 work mates, one a classic southern Manc, and the other a Fulham Chelsea posh lad.

I lied, I saw Ndombele score his first goal against Villa, so must have been after Ajax.
 
These kick off times must be great for regular Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning players as they can go to a lot of matches, I was limited to midweek home games for about 15 years, luckly that was most of the 70's. Being relegated made it easy to get my first season ticket in the West Stand.

I live opposite a park. Doesn’t seem to be any adult football going on apart some ladies playing in the summer, and kiddies in the mornings.

Not sure what the participation rates are, and I am sure it is worse in the smoke itself.

Same here.

Disappointed not to get rid of the spare ticket, feels like there is a lot of apathy around the team at the moment, not helped by the scheduling but United on a Saturday shouldn’t be a match we can’t sell out. Forget to dare is to do, the motto today win or lose we’re on the booze!

It's a terrible state, partly due to the cost of pitches and many of the clubs I played against have reduced their facilities or sold off some of their playing grounds. Kids football is massive but sadly is spoilt by mouthy parents, my dad had to work on Saturday mornings and never saw me play youth football.

It has gone off a cliff the last 15 years or so. Kids play 6-a-side in the pens in the evenings, but 11 a-side on grass is becoming quite scarce.

Those that do player are more the nearly made its, rather than classic amateur pub teams, so the standard is probably actually better than the old days
