*** Tottenham Hotspur vs clams***

He went missing as soon as he came out swcond half
There were 3 occasions he ran away from the ball leaving one man in the middle…. Kante then owned that space

Nuno starts to remind me of Solskjær first season, hit-or-miss on tactical entry to the game, but unable to respond to changes.

Tuchel observed us first half, anticipated our start of the second half, and took off Mount for Kanté. That neutralized Ndombele. Did we respond? Not untill after 60’ minute, after we’ve already conceded two.
After we introduce Skipp and Gil we improve slightly, but then Tuchel turns the table again.

I was screaming for Lamela from the 50th minute. We’ve sold him, but this was exactly the situation where you would want someone like him on the bench. Alonso was having a blast, Thiago was very good, and we hardly made a bruise on either. Lamela would have kicked Alonso into kingdom come, and probably elbowed Thiago.

Nuno must improve, and we must improve. Fast! Or else this will be a very very long season…

Ground, in the South.

Would be strange cause he had Kante on toast at the bridge. Never seen anyone do that to Kante before.
Same as me
I pointed it to my mate
Twice he went to our right and stood there whilst the ball was with Hojdjberg on the left
That’s not a midfield partner

I think many were focused on the unbeaten run and 3 points got the better of them to realise that the football was bad (stats to back it up) and we would be punished sooner or later.
Anyone surprised by this?

It's been like watching the Hindenburg crash into the Titanic since we sold Mousa Dembele, even when we've won. Chelsa have been far better than most since Tuchel took over and have bags of cash to back them. Even if we had money behind us Levy would still do a puppy like scream when players of real quality state their demands.

This is a very long and hard road we are on and I'm struggling to see how things could improve. This may come across as 'another knee jerk reaction' but our form since thumping Dortmund on the way to Madrid has been inconsistent and abysmal at times, leaving many with little hope. Today had a real feel of when Bill Nich died, an absolute legend gone, along with the team's ability to win on the day (we lost at home to Bolton that day) and a painful rebuild having started.

The footballing gods did not like my sacrifice of Solzeer and clearly couldn't care about Eriksen. Back to the drawing board. Maybe I needed to put my WHL sign up and also my Greavsie signed photo frame, or maybe I have just put off any hope of selling my home in the future if I ever want to.

We weren't trying, tactics are all very well but we stopped trying.

Third goal went in. Now I know it’s game over but all our players walked away with their heads down. They’re better than us but not that much better. They dingdonged us today and our players knew it.

Yup we keep to many of these types. I don't expect Paratici or Nuno to have any affiliation to the, likes of winks Dier and dele (who started under Mason once Mourinho was rid off) and I suspect these guys to have Levy's backing.
Square pegs in round holes sums it up. I like Dele but it`s not working for him in the position he`s being played in. Surely the manager can see this?

Dont just cover the photo over, need to rip that brick down mate.
How can you have a picture of that clam in your house?

Why would we. If I didn't want to sell me car and someone offered my half its value, I wouldn't be chasing them down the road either.

I do think we should have sold him, but City were looking to bend us over.

We went back and said he’s not for sale at any cost.

I doubt once talks went on it would have been 80 million - we just point blank refused to talk.

It was a midfield three. There were several times when the switch to the right was on, Ndombele moved to the right to be in position to be there when we could just switch play, but we couldn't. Because we're apparently not trying to move the ball quickly from one side to the other.

Reguilon was clearly frustrated with Dier after he instead of completing the switch to the left where Reguilon was available, he just played the ball back to the other side.

Our buildup play is just so poor.

I don't think that is fair... he came up with an excellent game plan first half - first time Chelsea were rattled - and it's not his fault that we did not convert one of the decent changes we had.

It is also not his fault that Alli was asleep for Silva's goal or that the team spinelessly downed tools when the second went in.

Do you honestly think if it were the other way round, Tuchel would make anything better from the worst squad we have had in recent years???

It is his fault that the team gave up, it’s his responsibility to make sure that they don’t. He is the manager, he has to better manage situations, instead of just sitting there.

He didn’t have many game changers on the bench but maybe he needs to have more faith in the younger players if they are the kind of player that could change matches. If we are going to lose, let’s give a player a chance to see what they can do.

Yes, he can’t manage player mistakes, that’s unfortunately part of football. He will have take action going forward from here and better manage corner defensive instructions so that the side is better prepared and aware of both their collective, and individual, responsibilities.

This is how I saw it, draw them in on one side and then the quick switch.

Except the switch never comes.

Nah, when we don’t have the ball, it’s like an air of resignation. There are moments where it gets louder but just want to see true 90 minute passion. Constant shouting and cheering, the kind that will leave people without a voice tomorrow having left it all out there.
We don,t chant Tottenham anymore like years gone by. All we get is Yids Yids Yids...cant we just give it a rest and chant the
name of the fcuking football club?

Because Nielsen is on there and brought me happiness when I was 16 and the only other time sadly was when Woodgates nose made me even happier.
