Jose Mourinho - SACKED

Irrespective of everything that happened before and since, sticking with Poch that season would have resulted in relegation.
I don’t think it would’ve. I think we’d have a mid table season as he rebuilt and we’d have hit the ground running after more additions the following summer. I think sticking with Jose into next season will see us dangerously close to relegation though.

He won trophies with other clubs, it's all they have

yeah, with every other club, easily

our problem during the ENIC Project has been getting over the line, appointing a manager with a track record of doing so was the logical choice, over that same time period there was no better example of a wining manager

Thought the Brighton game was the worst I have seen us play since the pre-Poch years. Thought it could not possibly get any worse. But the first half today was simply dreadful. Found myself cheering us on in the last 10 minutes as if something could be salvaged, but I am stuck with the feeling that the players (in the second half) were still playing for the manager, and that that might not be what we need. Confusing, disheartening, awful.
I thought the Brighton game was the worst I've seen us play since...the Brighton game we lost 3-0. Oh and the Bayern game we lost 7-2.

It was right to try. It isn't working and now it's time to try something else.

there isn't anything else, we've tried everything now

Where does Levy go from here, unless there is some miracle turn around under Jose the project has failed

He's obviously been regressing over his last two-three jobs though, despite the trophies - no other 'big' club would have touched him wiyh a bargpole and he's clearly reached the end of the road

Was there for everyone to see

I'm no Mourinho fan and the recent performances have surprised even me at how inept we've looked.
I'll always support whoever is in charge until they leave or get the sack despite what I'm seeing on the pitch. The players need to be more accountable too, so many errors in nearly every game are costing us.
Jose goes, who do we get?

he would never get the Barca job, or Milan/Juve, he's managed Madrid and United, we were the only big club left for him to go to ;)
