Much needed clean sheet.

a win is a win I suppose, but it wasn't very good.

Sunday is massive in terms of bragging rights and maybe, just maybe a Europa league spot

We cannot be in that. If Mourinho is the manager I know, he will forgo any European bonus in the hope that he can get the bigger bonus next season for the most unlikely Prem challenge in history.

The last two teams we lost a title race to came to it without any of that nonsense dragging them down.'
Mourinho is here and if we are going to get a title from his reign, it has to be in a season where we do not have to deal with traveling to far corners of Europe over 56 matches IMO.

Ben Davies MOTM
He has played with aggression and owned his side of the pitch
Defence looked solid and Aurier played well defensively too
Agree. Aurier definitely on top of his defensive game tonight. Dier good again, some important headers. That said Everton as an attacking force meh.

Richarlison , their potential danger man, we just fouled everytime he got it:)

With the side low on confidence a clean sheet and a ground out win is not to be sniffed at. The issue we have is there are far too many players in the team who not only are incapable of seeing a first time pass, their first touches make passes even harder as it takes them too close to an opposing player they do not have the ability to beat. Even if they do by chance go past someone the next decision is either to turn back or hit a pass behind the player making a run.
Thought back 4 all did well out of possession.
Sissoko particularly poor with tracking gave them their few sighters, Winks tidy, committed but ineffective. Son probably our biggest threat but doesn’t seem quite himself, Moura is just a spinning top on the ball, good aerially and work rate, Lo Celso showed glimpses but couldn’t get the support around him. Kane looked sluggish today but still gave us something in defence, a couple of offensive passes and the leadership to see the game out. This style of play does but suit him though, I think fully fit he’s in the box for the rebound from Son, I don’t think motivation is an issue for him.

Steff I need some of what you’re on , Title challenge ? Wow you are a serious optimist or high as a kite. Levy would need to part with some serious amount of queens heads for a title challenge and that is not happening

That's the number 10 role under Mourinho. The same as we have seen Dele and Lamela doing.

Ndombele hasn't shown anything in a Spurs shirt yet to warrant a start.

I think we need to see if he has anything personally, or else move him very quickly. At this rate, play him in the 10 and have Gio sitting next to Winks. We cannot afford to have an asset like that sitting on the bench IMO. He works or he doesn't, in which case off ski. Of course, for all we know he might have a move to Barca sorted already!

Sadly not the latter, probably more the former.
He has won trophies, we are stuck with him, the only chance we have of even sniffing top 4 next season IMO is to not be in Europe at all. Sadly. The title? Nah of course not, but...

Agreed on Europe won’t hurt to not be in it.

There was a moment Winks got it in 20 yards of space looked forward, spun around three times then passed ot sideways to Diet.

They other not a lot

no beating of men
Hardly and creative passing
Forward runs
Defensively poor
Positional poor.

I just want someone to come in and sit properly and maybe that will allow winks to be more aggressive/daring with the ball
