FA Cup Semi Final OMT ***Tottenham Hotspur FC v Manchester United***

It's the hope that kills me... Disappointed doesn't even come close. Crucial that we win the next couple of games. Onwards we go....
 
Had we won today I'd be going to my mate's techno party, someone would've had ecstasy or something, it would've been ace. Yet, here I am, back at home, eating a fudging dry sandwich drinking water. Thank you, Tottenham. :p
 
Defensively we’ve not been as good as previous seasons. Hard to win if you concede 2.

Only Verts present today from our best back 5 last season.

Not having Wayama screening or Dier tiring may also have an effect.

What are our stats in goals conceded this and the last two seasons?

Sadly its part of following and team in most sports.
Today’s game was being hyped in the media and even worse by some on here.
Was only going to get blown out of proportion if we lost.
All this ‘we never win anything’ hysteria is bloody embarrassing!
 
I am truly as gutted as anyone. Feel genuinely depressed.

But for anyone who thinks or says that we never win when it matters, let's remind ourselves that this team recently won at Stamford Bridge in an end-of-season top 4 six-pointer. If we can hold onto 4th, that can't be dismissed.
 
No one wants rid of Poch? Do they?

He is the best man for the job.

He is young (in managers terms) and maybe the learning curve is slow especially when you come in with a very defined philosophy that you truly believe in.

There is nothing in these top 5 games (sans arsenal). As Poch says they are 50-50. And today was no different. Generally we were better than them, but they took (the only?) 2 chances that came their way in a game of very few chances.

They can bore you and time waste with the best, a lesson we could learn. And bus parkers are hard to break down....we all know that.

Very disappointing but I don't blame anyone for the defeat. It's a close game of football that we lost.

If anyone does, they are ridiculous beyond words and deserve to be sacked as fans.

Well top 4 is the new F.A. cup for the players anyway.......means they get higher wages when they are in the champs league.
