The Goon Thread

Didn't Tuchel have a strained relationship with Aubamayang....

Napoli manager might be available in the summer .what a good team he has and they play amazing football. Chelski are looking at him

Or it's possible Conte will make the move across London;)

A good day for us. Yes Wenger was past it, but he was still delivering trophies. Still a great coach. He couldn't sort out their defense or scouting, buying and deal with player contracts. Which points to the club having issues as much as Wenger.
Depends who they get in. Someone with any defensive nous will improve them. They spend good money and pay good money.

So hopefully a Tony and Sol not-racist dream team.

Will be fascinating. How will the players stack up post Wenger? I think they have a lot of decent but quite average players. Some might regress (or the right coach could get them to excell).

If the focus changes to a strong defense and midfield, their attacking flare will suffer. One thing the scum have had for the past decades was good passing and movement. Even now their passing is probably better than ours.

Its the end of an era. We got Graham and they got a pass and move coach who was more synomous with Spurs. Without doubt a good day for us.

Clearly there is some talent in there, but honestly its a bang average yet badly balanced squad of players supplemented by some genuine quality up front.

They need a big overhaul of defence and midfield. Have done for years. And that just the "on paper" stuff. Whoever takes over needs to get into their heads as well.

If anything it is worse, because he has had even more control over the club that Ferguson had. It is one hell of a job for any incoming manager.

My dream

It sounds like Dermot Desmond agrees with me

Celtic majority shareholder Dermot Desmond has admitted he would let manager Brendan Rodgers speak to Arsenal. Desmond told Sky Sports News: “Absolutely. I don’t think you can put handcuffs on anybody if they want to go to a club as good as Arsenal. It will be Brendan’s decision and Brendan’s decision only.”

GHod please.

Id say they need to focus on those areas, but probably need 2 of each.

Im pretty sure they have a bunch of players who have contracts coming up, or are just getting too old. Or just arent good enough.

And thats before recognising the squad has no balance.

There is a VERY big job there, IMO.
But if someone like Poch rolled up, it wouldn't be so big , he couldn't care for the past.....just install his philosophy and get the ball rolling. Onwards and upwards.

The problem is there are not many Pochies:)

This is the reason I want to dislike Wenger so much. It was one thing seeing them have success under Graham, it was another to see them successful and ditching the one-nil boring Arsenal tag.

Oh Claude on Arsenal Fan TV.....

'We should even try and tempt the bloke down the road'

'Who Pochettino?'

'Yeah why not'

People have come into the room i'm in and are asking whats so funny?......i was laughing that loudly.
