World Cup 2018 Group H (Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan)

Senegal lack goal scorers
Columbia have them in a lot of positions
Their a real wild card now IMO
They didn't impress me much, though. Senegal looked real purposeful and dangerous in all their games. They do lack a natural goal scorer, but still have played some excellent football.

Good to see Colombia progressing to the Second Round as group winners. But this match shows they are not a 90-minute team as they can only play well in the second half in all their matches. Hope Colombia will make England work hard in the Second Round. Really disappointing that Senegal failed to progress due to them having more yellow cards than Japan despite having same points and goal difference as Japan. Senegal have only themselves to blame as they were too naive and careless to concede 2 goals against Japan. Senegal played well in all their matches but their lack of discpline cost them dearly.

Don't feel good about Japan progressing to the Second Round above Senegal. They work hard but their lack of quality means Japan will get thrashed by Belgium in the Second Round. Also have to question their mentality as they stopped playing for the last 15 minutes against Poland after knowing Colombia were leading Senegal and they were above Senegal on yellow cards. If Senegal had scored a goal then, it would have put Japan out. Was hoping Poland will score at least 2 goals to put Japan out but Poland were too poor in this World Cup. Poland's top striker Lewandowski didn't even score a goal in this World Cup.

I think yellow and red cards should not be used to decide team standings as referee are not consistent in giving out the cards. Some refrerees' are too lenient than others. I think shots on goal are more suitable to decide team standings when 2 teams are tied on points and goal differences.

Shots on goal would be worse
You would just have teams spanning the ball towards the goal and claim that ....

Murphy gutted at another dipper out.

Lucky for Liverpool. They all will get more of a holiday and will be well rested before the new season starts

Our boys will be playing all the way till mid July. Frustrating for Poch. Might be some tiredness next season
