Can anyone kindly run the logic of the weeklong extension for the EFL clubs to buy or loan from PL clubs? There's a distinct possibly I've misunderstood it. Does it work both ways as in we can buy from the lower league teams too?
Maybe for players who haven't worked out deals overseas who'd rather be out on loan in the championship? Seems odd to me as surely the 10 weeks should be enough time (and the deadline factor at the end is the most important anyways for us at least..). Should be interesting, will clubs hold back apart from meeting transfer clauses due to financial uncertainty?
