Bale has played 42 games for Real last season and 39 the season before.
He is costing real more than £600,000 a week eating into Zidane's wage bill for new signings and he doesn't get on much with this Spanish speaking teammates.

But ultimately this is political. He is seen as a Perez player. Perez wanted him and signed him. Zidane wasn't allowed to drop him during his first spell because Perez runs the club not the coach.
Now to get Zidane back as coach, Zidane has been given promises he'll have the control he wanted.
Bale going is almost a symbolic gesture by Perez to Zidane at this stage.

Having watched Girona destroy us in that pre-season friendly I wonder whether they have a player or two worth taking?

Couldn't agree more. Bale on loan just isn't a Tottenham signing, and I'd so much pay that same money for a talented young player who will fit into our ethos. Plus, does he have the energy to do the defensive work Poch wants from his forwards? I doubt it.

I remember that game. We pretty much had the youth team out with a few first teamers, had just flown in from the US, and I think Girona already had a few games under their belt.

They completely outplayed us tbf - Just had a look, 32 shots to 4!

Aren't they are linked to Emirates Marketing Project?

Girona are dodgy as fudge. As far as I'm concerned the reason Guardiola ended up at City was City gifting him part ownership of Girona.

I’m a bit surprised he’s taking public transport to work to be honest.

But surely this shows he’s kept his feet on the ground and it’s also good he’s made new mates whilst on there - surely that refutes the rumours of him being isolated.

We've already been linked with so many fudging nonsense players. This thread is a sickening joke that highlights everything wrong with modern football and society at large.

I'm divided on the whole 'should we/shouldn't we?' debate but can I ask - do you know the guy? I guess you must do to know all about his ego.... except you obviously don't.

I know for a fact that considering his status/fame he's one of the most shy & down to earth people around (this was told to me less than six months ago by a couple of guys he went to school with and are still in regular contact with him).

Perhaps you should read this article on Bale and his 'fear' of speaking Spanish
    https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/10/05/59d6596dca4741cf278b45b9.html

Again, more Legohamster 'insight'. Try doing some research before seemingly passing off hugely speculative - and incorrect - opinion as fact, bud.

Nah, just insight from his team mates:

Maybe I did do research, before you right it all off using an article form 2 years ago.

So far from incorrect, he doesn’t speak Spanish in the changing room from two players.

Or are they incorrect as well, bud.

Wilfried Zaha has told Crystal Palace he wants to leave the club

Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has told the club he wants to leave this summer.

Sky Sports News understands Palace are reluctant to sell the winger but he has reiterated his desire to play Champions League football.

Zaha, who scored 10 goals in an impressive 2018-19 Premier League campaign, is keen to test himself at the highest level of club football and start regularly challenging for trophies.

The 26-year-old failed to make any impact in a previous spell with Manchester United, after joining them from Palace for £15m in 2013, and he ended up back at Selhurst Park for a cut-price fee in February 2015.

However, Zaha feels he is ready for the challenge of representing a leading club and explained in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail in April that he has more to offer.

"I have to experience the Champions League. I just need the opportunity, that's it. And I'll do the rest," he said.

"I'm too ambitious. And not ambitious just to play for a top club, but to win things at club level and with the Ivory Coast.

"For me to be better, to achieve what I know I am capable of, I have to aim to play at the very highest level, to win trophies.

"I'm blessed to have come this far in my playing career. But I feel like there is so much more I have to offer."

    Tielemans wanted elsewhere
Youri Tielemans has Premier League interest from beyond Leicester.

Manchester United and Tottenham are both believed to have scouted the midfielder over the possibility of a summer move.

Leicester had Tielemans on loan during the back end of last season and are looking to make the deal permanent.

    City have Ndombele approach rejected
Emirates Marketing Project have had an offer for Tanguy Ndombele rejected by Lyon, according to reports.

City have been keen on the midfielder since he impressed against them in the Champions League earlier in the season.

Le10Sport claim that City have submitted a bid, but have seen their initial approach rebuffed.

I live in Madrid (for a bit now)

    - Bale speaks Spanish (not well), the big issue is Bale is a bit of a stiff one (and this was verified by people that played with him at Spurs), apparently he's very rigid about his hours, when he comes in to train, when he leaves, when he eats, when he goes to sleep. In Spain (especially Madrid) it is expected you go out with co-workers/friends and with restaurants not opening until 8:30 or 9pm I've had after works end at 2am, he doesn't do that and it causes some issues in the dressing room (multiple stories of Modric trying to encourage him to hang ut with rest of team). Main issue here is he's not flexible about what he thinks (his training and dedication) makes him the player he is, and the cultural environment (and believe me, real Spain, not the place you vacation in, is a hell of a culture shock).

    - Bale's problem is not ego or not wanting to step down, he has a contract and is paid very well, he has contributed significantly to Madrid's success, why should he take a hit? If Madrid want him gone, they will have to eat a lot of the cost.

    - Re all the comments about not wanting Bale, sorry guys, got to laugh. Any chance to have a player of that quality in the squad, even for a year has to be taken. Ask yourself this, how much better would you feel is we had Bale for the CL final? Buying him makes no sense, a low risk loan, why not.

    - No one is going to buy Bale, he's 30, his cost would be above 60M +wages and you would have no sell on value, not even United/PSG are going to do that. His & Madrid's only option is a loan, Madrid recoups enough of the wages to pay someone else, his contract value winds down and in 2 years perhaps they can sell him to a Chinese club.

Wondering if Bale might end up on loan at Bayern Munich.

They don’t mind having a big money loan player from Madrid (ie James Rodriguez).
