    Hopefully he'll realise that, at 22, and never really having got anywhere at Spurs he needs to take a step down to have the chance of taking a step up

    I think we should be doing knock-down prices for this sort of transfer, but with a whacking % on re-sale

    Absolutely! For whatever reason (IIRC, lack of pace and easily turned), he's not made an impact at Spurs and should be given the chance to move on and make a name for himself. The club owes it to him to facilitate a good transfer. Perhaps he'll eventually get picked up by another Prem club for whom he's a better fit.
