I'm usually not lost for words but I really don't know what to say. I never do in these circumstances. I'm gutted for you and your family mate.

I might add some more comments later.

What awful news, I’m truly so sorry.

I can’t even begin to understand how you manage to get through such a terrible time. It’s heartbreaking.

Having made such a brave decision, I hope you can now be at peace and enjoy the time you have left with your loved ones.

Lots of love to you and your family x

@Yermiyahu you are a good, good man. One of the best that I have had the pleasure to know and spend time with.

For those of you on here who want to know what kind of person he is, he approached me and offered help when I was (then) at my lowest point. Drinking far too much and almost certainly on a downward spiral.

He spent time with me, had faith in me and knowing that I had someone to turn to helped changed my outlook and put me in a more positive mindframe.

His knowledge and insight helped me change the direction of my business after fallout of the last financial crash devastated it, and the books that he recommended, taught me some of the methods i still use... or at least I would do if it not for Covid-19.

    Thank you for everything brother.

@Yermiyahu I can't add anything with any more beauty or authenticity to what's already been posted mate. My heart skipped a few beats reading your opening post and after initially being overwhelmed with sadness, I read it again and realised just how fudging baddass you are to send us this message, one that is filled with a lot of positivity and the instruction to not get lost in triviality and the silly fluff of life.

Stay strong my friend, much love to you and your family. As others have said, if you need anything, we're here x

So sorry to hear that, @Yermiyahu. I'm struggling for words too - what a horrible, yet brave decision to make.

I don't know what else to say...I just hope you are able to cherish life and your family to the max during the time you have left. Take care, mate.

Maybe a 'go fund me page' would be a good idea. Anyone have any experience setting one up?

Absolutely stunned for words, which is unusual for me.
You’re a great guy, I can only hope the timescales are ultimately somehow better than you anticipate Because we know for sure you’ve got cart blanche to squeeze ever last drop of juice and fun out of the one way ticket we all get.
You’ll make amazing memories and those kids will be so proud.
All the best mate. Thanks for sharing and keep in touch with us all.

Sorry to about that @Yermiyahu, it's total crap mate.
I applaud you for the bravery you have shown in taking this decision.
it must be very difficult for your family, let's hope you can make some great memories with them that they can cherish and help them through the tough times ahead.
Cancer is a scourge that I'm sure has touched us all and if there is anything we can do to help you only need to let us know.

Thank you for your kind words folks. Unfortunately I am bed ridden an unable to walk or dress myself. It's hard to keep cheerful but I am doing my best. If any Jewish readers wish to do a Refuah for me my Hebrew name is Yermiyahu Avrom ben Miriam.

Sorry to hear this mate, no words I can add to what's already been said but maximise whatever time you have left and do whatever you can to feel comfortable. Makes you realise how short life really is.

It is there. Whether they like it or not! Possibly something they will grow into.

For me, the connection with Spurs at its most emotive is that it came from my father and grandfather. It is a connection to them.

...and by the sounds of it if your kids ever need a ticket or a hand in London you have a lot of brothers on here who'll look out for them.
