At first glance it just seems like a kick up the arse to start signing some players but I do wonder if he has something in his contract allows him a way out.

TBH I think I'd prefer he stayed and hinders any real rebuild though

What's all the fuzz about him not showing up for training? They haven't shown up for most of their games in the last few seasons.
