We’re due to have the worst performing economy in the G7 in the coming months - so that is unique. As are the empty shelves, the queues at Dover and the farce of the NI protocol. The rising reliance on food banks is certainly becoming a feature of British life too. And then there’s doctors, nurses and teachers pouring out of their professions with no one to replace them, the rampant cronyism…I could go on.

    The country is a clusterfudge.

Did Bojo's wife fly the coup (sorry I mean coop) already, or is it a hopeful rumour started by Nadine?

this is what makes me laugh. We had it on a bus, we'll give our EU money to the NHS.

then the very same Govt tax you another 1.5% and absolutely no Brexit voter gives a brick. Cucks.

Sky reporting Tories now -400 councillors. Anything more than -350 was a disaster according to The Daily Fail.

This is the sort of thing that could finally spell the end for The Fat Liar. As a party they don’t really give a brick about people, but they won’t tolerate losing.

Big shifts in NI too. What happens if the AP is the 2nd biggest party and not the DUP?

Not going to happen - and anyway, the GFA states that the FM and DFM must represent the two predominant sides of the community.

The Daily Mail’s tactic has come back to bite it on the arse, given Starmer’s stance on ‘Beergate’.

So Truss thinks now is a good time to start a trade war with the EU. She's not the sharpest tool in the pencil case.

She's not even machiavellian in her thinking. This move would more or less scupper her leadership chances. I can't see the end game here.

All I can think, is that it’s a party wide plan to have something to fight the next election on, I expect the anti EU rhetoric will ramp up again.

Even though Boris got Brexit done.

I’d say she’s in the top 100 most stupid people in the country. She is painfully thick.

Sorry that belongs to Nadine Dorris, who literally does not know the area she's in charge of.

I've said this before, whilst i don't support the Tories, a functioning and able government with good people really is required for the good of the country. Cameron for example was a far superior PM and had a far stronger cabinet, both ageeing and dissenting voices but collectively superior.

Today, it's an absolute brick show, and we all suffer because of it. And people just accept it as par for the course when it really isnt...

Never has the old saying of you get the government you deserve been more true.
I bet there are people out there who would vote in a celebrity tv show before they would vote for the people running their life.

Starmer has been a huge disappointment, but he would still have been a best candidate since Cameron.
The fact that those two are probably the best we have had since major and smith is pretty damning.

I think Ed Milliband would have done well.

Personally I liked Corbyn but admit the could have been risks there.

I don't trust anyone that has been in politics as long as corbyn has.
Milliband was a man out of his time, politics is to cut throat for him and anyone like him now.
