    Episode 18

The Game Is About Glory team discuss the carry-on between Newcastle and Spurs at Sid James Park, DeNiro and Paccino, flushing down the can and managerial porkies. Among other things. It was so emotional the regular “other topic” section was bumped. Strap yourselves in.

    @thfcsteff, @Moby , @ricky2tricky4city and @milo discuss:
    • Newcastle United 2 - 2 Tottenham Hotspur
    • The managerial situation
    • A forward look to Manchester United

No worries. Just pull a Lawro and predict 2-0 every time, would be my advice.

I really enjoyed our post-brick-result strategy here.

Ignore the football and just take the tinkle!

There was lots of football talk but we agreed we'd have to sneak it past you

Steff really is good value, I feel like I’ve got to know him better from the handful of podcasts I’ve listened to over the thousands of posts I’ve read on here from him:D....

Good show again lads, keep it up.

One thing about Jose and his relationship with players that it brought to my mind, the ham he bought for reggie at Christmas. Struck an odd note to me at the time, not sure why, but is it a long term move, hoping at some point for a reunion at Real?
Long shot, but as I said something about the ham just struck me as odd.

    Cheers @glasgowspur

I don't see Mourinho getting another shot at the Real Madrid job.

Brilliant stuff. Sorry I’ve been slow on responses to these, a lot going on, not least the arrival of my firstborn yesterday! Listening to this one while mopping and cleaning awaiting his arrival back home. That, my friends, certainly gives perspective on how little football actually means...

Anyway, great show. Really resonates with a lot of my thoughts. Loved the Pacino / De Niro analogy @thfcsteff - Mou is our modern day Ridley Scott, trading off past glories - Alien and Bladerunner are my favourite films - and can only rely on getting a tune out of stuff if all the other ingredients are perfect...

Right, back to the bedroom floor and charging Ollie The Owl...

No me either, but it's Madrid, even more flaky and unpredictable than us!

Thanks @milo - looking forward to wetting the baby’s head with you all at the first game of the season.

Right, off to get a Junior Hotspur membership for baby Zachary. Birth certificate after that...
