Pierluigi Gollini

Story running about us sending him back early:

Tottenham Hotspur could now terminate Pierluigi Gollini’s loan as early as this January transfer window. Atalanta would like to send him back out on loan yet again with a view to playing regular first-team football.

Sort of makes sense if we dont see im ever taking over from Hugo.

Good news, hopefully got an English backup coming in if that's true.

I thought Gollini was already classed as UK trained as he was on Man Utd's books for years?

it does make little sense to have a back up GK taking up an overseas spot really. Would really like us to sign an English back up or have some faith in one of our upcoming prospects.

A 2nd OS GK isn't a problem - we've had one almost permanently since Walker overtook Thorstvet in the early 90s. It's when your 3rd GK is OS rather than academy that it's a worry

2nd GK is such an odd mentality (unambitious journeyman who can be relied on in an emergency) that they are really hard to come across

Yeah well done he’s been part of that training group under Conte that worked so hard to get fourth spot.
