OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vs. Leicester *** 22/08/2015 3pm

After being winless in our first 2 matches, we badly need to win this match. The more we go on winless, the more pressure it will get on Pochettino on his team. We have a mixed record against Leicester City. We have won 2 Cup Final against them but have also lost many important matches to them. Since the 1999 Worth.Cup win, we have won 6 and lost 6 to them in 13 matches. We did beat them home and away last season but it was close matches both times. Can see this being another tough match.

We again have to rely on Kane for the goals. Kane scored the hattrick against Leicester last season. Hope he can get his first league goal of the season in this match. Chadli did well to score against Stoke. It was his 4th goal in 8 league matches since last season. Nice to see Chadli getting some consistency in scoring goals. But he can do much better. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Eriksen. He has only scored 1 goal in 20 matches since last season. He used to be so prolifc goal scorer early last season. Not sure what happened to him. Wish we can rely on others to get the goals for us.

Still not convinced of our midfield. It is disappointing that Pochettino still have not get a reliable defensive and creative midfielder. We really don't have anyone who could protect our defence or open up our opponents when needed. Surely, Dier is not the answer for the defensive midfielder. Also, find it annoying that Pochettino seems to rely too much on the error-prone Bentaleb. I am convinced we could have beat Stoke if we had not bring in Bentaleb for Mason. Hope Dembele will show his true form and have a good game for us. Lamela had a bad game against Stoke when he came on. But still think we should start him as he has been our most creative player last season with 7 assists.

Our defence has been really disappointing in the last 2 matches. Alderweireld was at fault for giving away the stupid penalty which ultimately cost us the win against Stoke. Hope he will correct his mistake and work together with Vertonghen to improve our defending. We really cannot afford to concede stupid goals like that if we want to finish in top 5 this season. Wish Pochettino will buy a reliable defensive midfielder to protect our defence.

We badly need to win this match to keep in track of the top teams. Hope we will turn up with the right mentality and get that win !

We could really do with the win today, but i don't think we'll get it. I'm not entirely sure we are going to be able to attack with that line up.

I guess we are relying heavily on Mason. Gulp. The days of Modric et al really are a distant dream now. Anyway, welcome to the brave new world.
