Why does Ferdinand keep shouting silence at the end.

Why does he think he is in charge, he was not a bad player but he was not fit to lace the other two's boots.

    We started with purpose.

    Dele back post chance.

Rose nutmegs Dr Ligt and we're away. They back peddle and Moura freewheels all the way to a cool finish.

Trippier in down the side... we're queuing up in the middle... Llorente from 3yds..how,why, impossible..I'm working out how while Mouras feet are working miracles to create a gap...Boom..it's game on.

    Dolberg is sh.it

The Ajax boss is sh.itting himself.

They respond well. Their supporters terrific. Two good chances.

Moura good chance blocked. Llorente gets to loads of headers in front of goal but doesn't have the power..he's so stationery needs to attack it more.

72mins we're getting going again... Llorente hold up play first class...Sissoko starting to bully.

    They hit the post:eek:

    Lamela on.

    The Jan miss...
    Sonny blazes over..
    They're on the rack.

We're desperate nearly get done on the break.

    Ajax fans celebrating.

    Clam keeper.

Another powder puff header from Llorente....and that's it?

One last Hoddlesque pump upfield from Sissoko.. Llorente knock it down ..Dele ghosts it round the corner and the ever aware Lucas is there drive it low and hard into the corner where the clown keeper has no chance....it's a miracle...and I'm in tears again.

Just see it out ffs.....Lamela wtf don't cut back inside..we break the lines and we're heading upfield Moura to Sissoko a twist a turn a fabinho fall over...

    AND THERE IT IS....

The moments in life you'll remember forever.

I watched it yet again today for the second time. And was still cheering each goal as if it was the first time I had seen them. Well, maybe not quite like the first time, that can't be matched, but the euphoria is still there and will be for a long time I think.
I've got the celebrations on in the background now, just watching Poch doing his bowing to the crowd and getting his team out with him.
    Incredible scenes.

Well yes, this much I know :D

No tears at the end... just minutes of utter, utter disbelief, bewilderment, dumbfoundedness. And joy. Lots of joy.

Been thinking about it almost solidly for two days now.

I mean, I love music and enjoy films and books, but I’m not sure there’s anything else like this that can do what it has, to us.

I dunno, he’d have been better in their era and they wouldn’t have been the same in his.

His trophy count is also significantly higher.

fudgein hell. I've been barely holding it in check all week, sometimes for ridiculous nonsense. It is like the dam burst. Maybe I need a therapist, or maybe wine will cure it. I'll try that first.

I don’t believe you. We’re not a big enough club to do that and the first decent side we meet will destroy us over two legs.

Another thing to note...over the last four seasons, we have been (if I am not mistaken) the next most consistently strong team in the Prem behind City. This is the culmination of those years spent winning and winning only to lose "moments"...we learned how to create our own luck. We learned. we are there on merit, and I believe over the last few seasons we have been one of the very top sides in Europe. So it is fitting.

Who's the background staff member you see enjoying himself heartily a few times throughout the video?

So, I’m very slowly coming down from Wednesday night’s high and am able to process things a little better.

A few thoughts from me, I’ll try and make them a little original, which is hard as so much has been said already:

    - What a block by Toby on De Jong in injury time, saving a certain goal. I don’t think he’s got enough praise for this

    - How brilliantly was the game referee’d? He let the game flow, didn’t blow up for niggly contact, and basically allowed the game to become the spectacle, it, well, became

    - I’m not sure he has a weaker foot, but all three on his left peg by Moura. What a hero!

    - How composed did the players remain in those final minutes, in spite of the huge pressure?!?! Their brains must have been scrambled, yet the players remained calm, playing the system, which culminated in Son playing that simple pass to Sissoko when the clock ticked 4.53, rather that hoofing it up there. ‘Unconscious competence’ is it?

    - The much-maligned Trippier got a massive block in when we were overloaded at the back post towards the end. He’ll know deep down his first half performance - and the rest - haven’t been good enough, but what character shown by him to keep going

    - I must’ve watched that second half over ten times now and still, when we head into injury time, even though I know what’s going to happen, I still don’t believe it will. Onana was booked for timewasting around 94.25, for chrissake! I will never, ever, forget all of this, despite my best attempts to do just that, fuelled by the boozy haze that followed

I’m sure more will come to me, but that’s all for now.

    Football. Bloody hell.
