To bring it back to actual films as opposed to potential stunts in an award show (that nonetheless bring out intriguing opinions in how people should interact)

Over the last two nights i’ve rewatched Gangs of New York and watched Lego Batman for the first time. Whilst not necessarily on the same level I enjoyed both films supremely..

I wasn’t trying to find similarities but it must be said that both have stellar casts, everyone seems perfect for the role they’re doing, I’d completely forgotten about Stephen Graham being in Gangs of New York and does make me wonder whether he is human as he doesn’t seem to have aged much since then.

As for Lego Batman, for a rated U film there was a lot of real life in there and was an entertaining watch, I thoroughly enjoyed the batman but was nice to see the whole premise played less seriously.

They've not been relevant for decades, and yes - viewer numbers have been plummeting for years.

I love art house films as well as mainstream ones, but sactimomious 'Oscary' films are a breed of their own, and generally pretty toss

That’s great but hair loss isn’t a disability

"misogynoir" so chris rock is prejudiced against black women?

As for it being a disability? No. Sorry it doesn't limit her senses, movement or abilities.

The joke was brick and in poor taste. But it's not a disability, it's probably not permanent.

Jesus just admit you were wrong and that it’s a medical condition. There’s an argument to be made as to whether a joke about that is acceptable or not.

Wilful ignorance (and justifying what is legally considered assault) is worse than a comedian telling a joke.

Labelling conditions as disability is genuinely offensive to disabled people. Last time I checked pregnant ladies aren’t considered disabled.

Demi Moore looked very good with a shaved head, much like Jada Smith does. Even Will Smith has described his behaviour as unacceptable.

Seen this crazy Smith is a Scientologist theory?

Normally, craziness and Scientology go hand in hand, and the slap thing is weird, so I fully believe it.

What? Are scientoligists the only people that slap people? Are they known for slapping people?

Tom Cruise slaps everyone he meets as a sort of greeting.

It’s decent. Just easy to watch. Bit cheesy in places. The fella that plays Reacher does the character justice . Not like Mr Cruise and his attempt.
