I watched The Last Duel up my local Odeon last night and thought it had some good moments but boy the middle section could’ve done with some editing down, as it felt even longer than 2.5 hours! Finale was really good at least.

Yes. It was pretty good, although not really Oscar-worthy. I liked the story and the cinematography. The ending was a bit dissapointing, but it didn't ruin the rest of it. Both Thomasin Mckenzie and Anya Taylor Joy were lovely ;).

Spencer rivals The French Dispatch as one of the worst films I’ve seen at the cinema this year.

You went to the cinema to watch... a film about Princess Diana.. starring Kristen Stewart. I think you deserve everything you get lol!

Is The French Dispatch not good? The Mrs is wanting us to go see it.

Kristin Stewart was excellent, and I’m not a big fan of hers. The film was crap. Artsy fartsy stuff that critics love.

French Dispatch has no plot. I liked Grand Budapest Hotel which is also directed by Wes Anderson but French Dispatch is just really boring and not funny.

The 3 stars just pretty much showboat through doing their thing, it’s switch your brain off entertainment. A good popcorn flick, like you say.
