I would feel that way if it was one of our real important players, but Walker wanted to go and as good as he was wasn't even one of our top 5 players and we got 54 million for him...
 
Has this guy been featuring in City's pre season?

Surely given what Pep has said about youngsters won't get much game time he's a fool to stay.
 
£25m for him isnt the worst deal you'll see in the current climate

It's got a buy-back clause in it, so it's basically a glorified loan. If he fulfills his huge potential, City gets him back for his peak years. If not, he stays with Leicester for a big fee. That's the reason we didn't pursue, because if he would have been good enough to make a difference at Spurs, there's no way City don't buy him back.

He's the CF I really wanted us to sign, but with the buy-back, it would have never made sense for Spurs.
