Yes. The age at which footballers last get to say what they really think, prior to ‘media training’ replacing all the offensive statements with “we go again Saturday” and “we’ll keep working hard” etc.

A lesson that Danny Rose and a few others bunked off of. And I prefer people giving the truth. Cut away from the flimflam. Won’t always like it but if that’s what they think it’s best to know.

Going to watch Norwich today. ON NOW (Norwich City v Ipswich Town - 12:00 - Sky Sports Football

They were triffic last time, some excellent midfielders.

Stiepermann Is a good player sadly lacks pace and at 28 is a little old.
    Good player though

Apparently the is a centre half for Norwich that teams are looking at as well as the right back. Not sure we need any 19 year old defenders with a few talented youth international defenders in the club. We need to find a way for them to go out and get some league football to help their progression.

For those that think we should sign Maguire: Please stop. He's a big lump, we need footballers. He's not half as good as Sanchez, but would cost twice as much.

Think it's safe to say we didn't miss out much by not dropping 80m on Jorginho

Yep. He’s ok, but needs to improve to be considered at the same level now as Oliver Skipp.

    said it for some time
Him and Kovacic are hugeley over rated and no better than any we had, and arguably inferior

They just have those glamourous names that fans love

well he is very static but not limping or anything, compare it to the amount of running eriksen does in a match for us, one game is not everything of course. Ndombele gave the penalty away for the Nice goal, currently losing 1-0. One game is hard to get a great impression of someone and I like Ndombele when I seen him in the past, but Fekir nothing for me tonight.

Depay has probably been the most potent threat.

No, I’ve seen him for Holland a few times too he looks a much improved player. He was quite clearly another young player who went to a super club too early in his career. I’ve no doubts he could hack it in the PL if he came here now.....

Since the French league is one of the few BT Sport haven't managed to lose the rights to (yet), he's never hugely impressed me for Lyon. Average again tonight. Bit of a Fancy Dan. A less funny looking Shaqiri.

Well we know we will defo need to spend in the summer and i feel we coud get rid and upgrade on a number of players without actually distrupting the core of the team.

    I would get rid of

    Tripps
    Dier
    Llorente
    Wanyama
Lamela if he is as injury prone as it seems (but not a priorty sale)

I think to get to that next level we need a top right back, a world class CM and a decent back up for Kane.

    Ottawa, actually.
Dier and Lamela are two I'd definitely keep. Dier because he's a big lump, but he's our big lump, and he's a tactically aware big lump who does a lot of jobs on the field with minimal fuss. He's more important to us and how we play than he sometimes appears.

Lamela, because he's in a situation where his injuries mean he isn't really entitled to a consistent spot in the first eleven, but he's still around enough to be a very competent backup. It's rare to find that.

I'd be fine with Tripps and Wanyama leaving, though. And I assume Llorente's contract is ending on July 1st, so he's out of here anyway.
