James racking up assists game after game. Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin continuing to blossom. They're finally going to be a threat this season I reckon.

Everton have done this before, started off like a rocket, only to fizzle when injuries and suspensions kick in.

He’s been decent, but they’ve only faced one good team so far and we were brick that day, giving him the freedom of the park.

Let’s see where they end up this season and how he performs against a proper midfield.

They have a great manager, but they always start well, I remember everyone going mad about Richarlson’s great start a couple of years ago, then he didn’t do anything after Christmas.

    Marathon, sprint etc etc.

They play Liverpool next right? If they come out of that game with a result then you’ll have to sit up and take notice. They are due a win against them it’s been 10 years, I know because I won money on a scorecast the last time they beat Liverpool.

Hardly ready to award them the league title just yet after 4 games

I think they have done very well, Carlo is a good manager, no doubt.

I'd like their purple patch to at least continue a bit past the Liverpool game. It will be most welcome for Liverpool to have a spanner thrown in their works by the local rivals.

No Europe is a bonus too, looking good so far but very early days. Liverpool will be a good test. Pickford is a concern for me, got away with it today but in a close game a keeper error can take the wind right out of your sails.

Hahaha .. touché mate, he's started well but I still stand by my judgement (he has a career built on good 5 game runs)

5 games into his loan to the Scum everyone thought Ceballos was going be great ..

This feels different this season. Although it’s very early days there are some important structural differences to previous seasons. Lovely midfield balance with rotation options. Calvert Lewin scoring, Yerri Mina looking imperious at the back. They are a top striker and goal keeper away from being a regular top 4 side or even title contenders imho. Add to this that Arsenal, Chelsea and ManUtd are no great shakes alongside the “Ancelotti factor” I think they are serious top 4 contenders this season.

it also illustrates that when you have money, you can be anything. We’ve seen it before with CIty and Chelsea coming from nowhere. With Usmanov/moshiri money Everton have to be taken seriously.
