Strange game. We could be still be playing now and we still would not have scored. You know what you are going to get with Everton, 100% commitment. It is like this everytime we go to the Reebok as well.

Anyhow some thoughts:

Walker is a young player who is just starting out in he's career at Spurs. He will learn and get better

King & Kaboom seem to be an accident waiting to happen at the moment

Adebayor has a dreadful first touch and when he plays bad he really stinks the joint out.

You would have thought that Defoe would know how to stay onside by now. Has no footballing brain.

Modric in the middle and Bale on the left please for FFS.

Really hope this is just a blip and it is a brick time to have one. Hoping it is just coincidence it has coincided with this England job gonad*s.

Once? and even that was barely his fault. the ball ricocheted into his path when he missed the cross.

He does yeah - so does Ade. I think Suarez also gets offside a fair bit. A few others.

I agree with the rest tho about Ade stinkin the place out and King/Kaboom - its like they have never met each other

I might be wrong, but are all of these left footers anyway?

Naturaly left footed yes, but a better option then those who have been put there by Redknapp, VDV, Modric, Sandro, or trying to fit another round peg into a square hole ( Walker)

Difference between the two sides was the quality of their strike. We outplayed them overall, reflected by our 21 attempts on goal to their 9 - and that doesn't include Defoe's offside strike

Friedel 6 - might have been luckier with their goal had he been a fraction more central because he finger-tipped it onto the inside of the post

Walker 6 - some good defending but seems to have replaced his forward threat with petulance

Kaboul 4 - when he's good he's very very good, but when he's bad he's horrid

King 5 - sadly no longer the King, illustrated by his total loss of concentration when arguing with the ref whilst play continued and our goal came under threat. Totally out of character.

Ekotto 6 - decent

Bale 6 - I'm disillusioned by the prima donna that is rapidly emerging

Sandro 5 - seems to have lost confidence probably because he's dropped down the pecking order

Modrich 6 - good game overall

Parker 6 - ditto. Not sure why he was taken off - was he injured? Not as though Livermore was going to do anything spectacularly game changing, was it!

Defoe 7 - cannot understand why he is getting so much stick, he looked much sharper than usual and might have been luckier

Adebayor 4 - woeful. Are we ever going to see full value for our ?ú200k-a-week on a regular basis?

Van Der Vaart 6 - added a bit of class when he came on

Livermore 6 - did okay

Saha 5 - unlucky, struck the woodwork and looked good when he first came on, thereafter tried to take on a bit too much

Mate - your ratings for Modric and Parker are completely bizarre. They are just not in the game at the moment. 4s for both of them at best

Watch the game again, then apologise with humility......

Why? Seen it many times and it's like he isn't there his defending is that effective. He was responsible for AT LEAST 2 of the goals against Arsenal but not doing the off side trap like the rest of the defence were. I like Kaboul, it's been his best season ever, but he's still not an amazing defender and someone who I don't want to be our first choice at all. He's always going to be at fault for too many goals, he goes on the most ineffective runs with the ball and seems to think, for no reason whatsoever, that he can take free kicks.
