    RIP. Coronavirus 2020
Hopefully in 5 years time this thread will be hundreds of pages long and he will be a first team player.

Think the right path is stick with the youth teams train with the first team when you can. Then at 18 get a league loan to learn your game.

Seen recently with Calvert Lewin how strikers need those minutes in their legs and get experience to make the right runs.

I love seeing young players come through, probably the thing that makes me happiest. Hope we give this lad the time and room to come through.

From what we’ve all seen over his entire first team career he’ll never make it at the top level. Colchester will be as good as he can do.

Looks raw in the game, but but at least getting into the right positions. Promising start, which I'd rather than scoring a goal and being labelled as "the next big thing"

Heavy first touch. Poor finish. Dragged a tame effort well wide.
I’ve seen enough to write him off as not good enough for Tottenham.

So exciting to see him come on. There's a long way from this to being a regular first team player, but great to see.

It's a tough shout out between him and Cameron Lancaster.

Not trying to draw any other comparisons other than having totally bitching names...Great stuff though, Jose isn't going to be giving out minutes solely to kill time so hopefully the three fresh faces (to 1st team football at least) can step it up having had a taste of it.

The dream would have been Scarlett finishing the chance as he did well to take it down, and improvised a finish which showed instinct but alas....Great thing is, the lad didn't look lost / out of place and that's a key with youth players imo. Effort and attitude shouldn't even be a question at this level, it comes down to being a functioning part of the team not just making up the numbers.

Congratulations to him on becoming our youngest ever starter, very early days of course but i bet he and his family are really proud today.

Mourinho said before the game that he'd asked the youth team coaches which players deserved to be included in the squad for Ludogorets and Scarlett was quickly suggested.

    Our next great Dane?

Haha, doesn’t surprise me...I was late to the party, but it’s in the timing with his first appearance. I still remember when Andy Turner was our youngest player, and a star in the making, at least according to Championship Manager 1993.
