Great stuff from the club. Lovely all round, seems like a switched on kid.

Brilliant, no matter what that kid goes on to do in life he will never forget that experience.

I’m inclined to think it’s less general PR and more a motivation to all the other ball boys about the appreciation of high standards and that feeling of “you’re all part of the team”.

    Really happy for the lad.

Almost certainly PR, but even so its a really nice gesture.

    Exactly this.
PR doesn't have to be exploitative - it can be what it actually is... Public Relations.
This is great recognition for the kid.
Great motivation for the ball boys.
A great opportunity for the fans to see Mourinho building a team that stretches beyond the staff.

When he first came in he spoke of building on Poch. Part of that is the club culture. This is a good part of the warm togetherness culture - we win by using all parts of the club, from the players to the kit man, to the ball boy, to the fans.
I think this will be essential for Levy - it has been 20 years in the making, he won't let anyone destroy it.

Oh definitely....but I believe it started organically. ie he did a smart move getting the ball back in play super quick off his own back...it paid off massively....in that moment..Jose thought 'smart kid', gave him the due credit and it's snowballed from there.

Disappointed I was hoping to see a link to a promising midfielder or Right back...

Well, he probably takes a better throw-in than Aurier.
