Next Manager?

What about Galtier at Lille?

Last 3 seasons could be 2nd, 4th and 1st (poss) in a league where PSG, Lyon and Marseille are bigger than them

Possibly with Campos coming in as DoF too?

I believe that he's out of contract in the summer. It's a big jump from Ligue Un to the Premier League. I'd be surprised if it is him.

I remember we were linked with him highly before Jose came in. I don't think his stock is as high as it was a couple years ago.

Don't really see what Inzaghi would 'guarantee' as an option that Potter wouldn't really, and Potter has the advantage of knowing the league. He's won the cup a couple times and finished 5th/6th.

Would be a strange choice.

I think it's maybe the Pochettino associations. The emotional paternalist style that worked so well recently. Inzaghi's squad are known to have almost cult like devotion to him, like ours had to Poch.

Inzaghi, along with Gallardo and even Mason, seem like 'continuity Poch' candidates.

It is, but are we going to get a top 4 manager from England, Germany, Italy or Spain? And who also meets the attacking etc criteria?

I'm not sure it would be much bigger jump for Galtier from Lille compared to Ten Hag from Ajax

It feels like we'll either be taking some risk, whether thats a lower table manager like Potter from the PL, or someone from higher up but in a lesser league

And then ETH coming out and saying he knows what he has there. If he wanted this job, he’d let it be known and make it happen. Maybe he genuinely does, and we are all just waiting for the season to finish, but I think the links completely dying suggest he isn’t that fussed about coming.
Yeah he is never gonna to under mine his current job without an offer on the table. The guys not stupid

Campos has been on the market for a long while.... fact that Levy hasn’t brought him in already has made me give up hope. Looks like Levy and Hitchen combined will be our DoF for the foreseeable future.

I'm not quite sure that I understand what you mean by top four manager.

I’d argue winning the French league is tougher than the Dutch ... but then PSG do have a Spurs man in charge now ;););)

Yeah appreciate he's managed elsewhere too but his successes as a manager came at PSG in Ligue 1 so i wouldn't discount a manager from France - especially one who has pipped the moneybags team to the title with a much smaller side
And has dealt with selling their best players along the way

I'm not discounting him. I think that he's done a decent job at Lille, they are a team that I've watched a lot over the last couple of seasons. I think that it is very unlikely that we would appoint him though
