    Don’t disagree but forwards are the most expensive commodity. I guess the two options are you buy two and go for the idea that one of them might work with each costing less. Or you go big on one. As with no Europe next season my idea is try and go for quality over quantity.

    The most important thing is that covers the interest on the stadium debt which I think is just below £30m. Basically on a day to day basis the cost of building the stadium is not currently hurting us as the non football revenues from it cover it.

    He wasn’t interested a few weeks ago seemingly not interested a few days ago but now throwing a 5 year contract at him and he’s interested. Shows desperation and not sure if he’s coming for the right reasons.

    Yeah 6 months should be somewhere around the 10th February as he had his op around 10th August I think. So if he needs another 2 months from then he might be available before April is out. Obviously actually trusting the knee in a tackle will be a much bigger test.
