It was the right call for the manager Frank is, however having failed to get him, why did we not profile similar types of player? Why did we then go back to the type of player he really didn't seem to want? It was awful planning/decision-making/recruitment, and is an area where I have some...

I think either believe the confidence was drained by the tactics, or the confidence was drained by the results. I suppose it isn't binary, but as to which initiated which, I firmly believe the tactical approach drained the confidence which also has cost us results. With 6 games to go, you're...

FWIW I am not a huge fan of Biss, however it is fact that he is a more adventurous midfielder and takes risks in those areas. Which means he was never someone Frank was going to use, as he proved to us that he did not like taking risks in the central areas.

You're right, he was INITIALLY excluded because of time-keeping. Was he then completely frozen out because of time-keeping? How long does punishment for an infraction last? Lets face it, he didn't fancy (or trust) his style of playing. Of course, given the speed with which our board managed to...

I heard early in the summer that he had turned down both Eze and Xavi as he wanted MGW. I believe he was 'talked around' to Eze and Xavi. He did the hard work in signing Palhinha, agreed. Where I believe he failed was in trusting him to do his job and using him to allow others to do theirs with...

I think Frank's lack of courage cost us, particularly in those areas when he opted not to have a passing midfielder. Bergvall is a high-risk player, however I maintain he was worth the gamble as a deep-lying roving carrier/distributor. I actually thought that was the whole point of Pahlinha...

Interesting; I'd say that sits even more on Frank not knowing how to deal with a potential situation he might not have anticipated (in itself that'd be poor IMO)...

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton, White Hart Lane, Sat April 18th, 5.30pm***

Spence has played as 'an advanced wing-back' a lot prior to us (and of course in the CL he has played as a RW). Desperate times call for inventive measures.

In fairness, an excellent question and a reminder that we DID sign experience. My vote? Frank did the whole 'no risk double lock it down' instead of either instructing Bentancur to be his more roving attack-minded self, or developing Bergvall into a great runner/carrier/distributor with...

Important. IF he can play a role for even 20 minutes in a few games left he could be massive.

Nobody is being that binary. At the same time, it is a massive mistake to not see that the 'project' hatched by Frank and the Tweedle Twins has been an accelerated disaster to where we're at, and it remains a massive mistake that some of our supporters seem to have no issue with the fact we...
