Nope. Romero's time is up clearly, but we need to keep VdV. I'd loan Vuskovic for one more season. Senesi and Van Hecke in, Romero & Dragusin out. Probably 50 mill after balancing Van Hecke with sale money. Put that into a CF. A real one. I am actually shocked that anyone would agree to VdV...

    Luka Vuskovic

I agree. Frankly, if I were the club, I'd be looking at the recently promoted sides and see if any would like to take him for the season? Coventry maybe? He'd certainly get experience. Then next summer, when we are hopefully back in Europe/the CL, we can possibly take him back. He turned 19 in...

I would posit that 'bravery' and our fanbase over the last few years are not exactly always best friends?

    Andy Robertson

Robertson for the Milner effect? Far greater than just on-field?

Apparently not convincing enough to build a team around...still, we did have Trevor Steven...

    Christian Eriksen

It is an amazing story. He got the transplant during covid! He is now doing super well. One time, long before the transplant, his heart rate would not drop below 165 - he was not working out or anything. I told him I would drive him to emergency if he didn't call ambulance. He said he'd call. 20...

    Savinho

I agree, and it has had me questioning whether the game currently has room for this sort of player (sadly)? Looking at the England squad for WC, it appears not really, and TBH, I think it is such a shame!

Everytime it goes off like that, the force is huge. My friend had one, he eventually needed a heart transplant. One time, his defib went off 30 times in 60 mins. He said each one felt like a horse kicking him in the chest; FWIW the man is a hero of mine...

He did. He is incredibly lucky. His biggest battle now will be to listen to his body and be at peace with not playing anymore. IMO.

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

The story has several chapters I suspect. We may never know some of them.

I agree. We will certainly find out the longer term ramifications of how we dealt with him...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

It was. All levels of playing staff applied the same philosophy, the idea being it would bed in as an actualised identity reflecting To Dare Is To Do on the pitch. You raise Jose and Conte. THAT'S the problem, hiring 'instant' managers and not giving them the tools they need, trying to...

    Mauricio Pochettino

Thought they recovered very well from that horrendous early concession, and for a good 40 mins or so had Germany right on the back-foot. They'll be competitive. Out of the group stages for sure. He has done a lot to restructure how the US plays; they need better players. FWIW I think he will leave.
