Indeed. I think it'd be good to have him in the squad. We bemoan our lack of experience yet Benjamin has tons.

In isolation I can see that, but blended into a pack which includes Gallagher, Palhinha and Bentancur, I can see various blends working well. It does -as some have said- leave us 'pass-light' to a degree/leaning a lot on Maddison. The type of passer I'd personally love to see is both hard to...

We missed a massive trick not signing him when we had the chance.

I think Davies will be here next season.

I agree with you in several senses, and am personally a HUGE fan of both Bergy and Sarr. Your point about chaotic is on point; Bergy was superb for us in Ange's last season, beyond his years for sure. The risks of cashing in on them would be huge, no doubt whatsoever. I just have a feeling that...

I would absolutely place him as our #1 and have an experienced suitable style-wise #2.

Dear lord I think I'd have to (ruefully) laugh!

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

I agree, that stuff is all to be done...but in terms raw daily operations, we flipped everything on its head when Levy was ousted. Everything. It was a massive shift in day to day procedures backstage, and I am hopeful that at least THAT part is somewhat settled now/close to completion.

Yes, and that is still not my main question. The whole shape behind the scenes has changed in terms of depts and how they are run. What I am interested in is - *how many more new faces are still to come in through various depts *how 'complete' the restructure is vs how far we have to go i.e. is...

I agree. Like yourself I really, really like both of them (and would not be unhappy if they stayed) and if we could get good money and upgrade, it'd be great to do so. I think De Zerbi will make a few eyebrow-raising decisions personally. It's going to be an interesting summer. So you're saying...

I love Bergvall and felt he was a future leader, but it is going to be interesting to see if DeZerbi wants him or if he designates him as a player we can sell/get good money for and then turn around and buy someone like Scott who is very much ready now. One thing we don't know is what system...

I say let's just move on mate. That particular 'discussion' got very weird very fast and to my eye was not about the manager(s) any longer.

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

That wasn't really my question. I'm more interested in gauging how far along we are time-wise in the restructure, not numbers-wise.

Got it, thanks. Yes, I hear things about players via similar sources (through friends) and know a few folks at the the club. I have always got the impression it has been a lot of change in structure and rather tough on everyone as we get used to the changes being made. No-one who is smart is...
